Something you will not see every day - a review 24 years post-LASIK! I enjoyed 23 years of fantastic vision having corrected -5 with dramatic astigmatism. Having 2 kids changed my vision slightly but still close to 20/20. I am finally old and have to get reading glasses. Dr. Gailitis also corrected very complicated vision for my father. If I ever needed surgery again, I would drive the 4 hours straight back to Dr. Gailitis. Fantastic top of his field eye doc.
Just had custom laser cataract surgery performed by Dr RaymondGailitis. Dr Gailitis and his staff are without a doubt the finest group of professionals I have ever been involved with, ever !!! Vision surgery is always a cause for anxiety, but, not with his staff who were equally as professional, competent efficient and qualified. It's like experiencing a fluid movement, step by step to the final surgery. I don't do this lightly. The professionalism starts at the top.
Dr. Gailitis and his team are excellent and totally worthy of a five star review. I had LASIK surgery about a month ago, and I am very glad I chose Dr. Gailitis. His team were professional, kind, and informative from my first consultation, through the procedure, and afterwards too. As far as the procedure itself goes, Dr. Gailitis did an excellent job of walking me through the procedure as he performed it (which helped keep me calm). His entire team seemed to understand the gravity of the procedure and every single one of them were encouraging and calming. The results speak for themselves, I went from 20/200 before the procedure to 20/15 at the next day's check-up. My only side-effect a month out is occasional dry eyes, but the eyedrops work a charm, and the dry eyes have never been an encumbrance to my daily activities. Also, the dry eyes might be more of a temporary side-effect than a long-term result - time will tell. I highly recommend choosing Dr. Gailitis and his team.
absolutely one of the most unprofessional offices. They flat out tell you that they overbook. It is standard for them to tell patients that it is a 2 hour appointment. If you like to go to the Dr for 2-3 hours, hey this is your place. They don't even hide it. You can find another great Dr, where you will not be waiting this long. Find a place where they respect their patients and their time. It is disgraceful what they do here.
Amazing experience!!! I have done my lasik procedure with Dr. Gailitis and I can ensure you that he's the only one that I'll ever trust my eyes with! The staff was so lovely and made me feel so comfortable the whole time. I get anxious very easily, so I didn't have much confidence in the beginning. However, Dr. Gailitis and his team made it smooth sailing, exceeding my expectations!! I wouldn't have picked any other place to do my lasik. :) 10/10
The office billed me and my husband mistakenly at 1st time we have scheduled the appointment. I called to speak to the office manager and she ignored me never returned my call. The office doesn't know how execute its business, they lost 2 patients and they don't deserve any star. Be careful with whatever they charge you 🤬
Really knows his stuff. Well trained staff. Nice facilities.
While the Doctor might be.... fine...the office experience makes it unpleasant to come here. They are nice but nice isn't competent. I made an appointment well in advance on a rare off day. When we got there they said they'd canceled it because the doctor was out and that they had called. The office staff was there but there was no doctor. No email or text just a single phone call I had no record of. Mystery solved a few months later when they confirmed the rescheduled appointment by phone from a private number. An employee calling from a non-office location from a private number, likely on a personal device, unable to confirm appointment details as they were not in office. Do YOU answer calls from private callers thinking they must be a doctors office? I don't. I would strongly suggest that they explore written communication options like other businesses who have joined this decade. When I spoke to them they confirmed the appointment a week earlier than I had it noted on my calendar. Yes, I'm sure because I could see that a conflicting appointment had been scheduled and confirmed prior to the date this appointment was scheduled. I confirmed it anyway because I didn't want to reschedule yet again. Apparently, appointment times are merely vague suggestions. Expect to wait an hour or more past your appointment time because their time is worth more than yours. I don't understand why there is so much overscheduling. Good thing you left work for this. Finally, guess what? I used to manage a medical office. We used to text patients if we were running more than 30m behind. Sometimes, yes, they have to reschedule. Sometimes they could run an errand or take their time before leaving. They were always grateful for the courtesy and heads up. You can text from many desktop applications and still preserve patient records in EHR and provide a much stronger customer experience. Do better.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
