I had Bariatric Sleeve surgery performed by Dr. Paul Wizman. I must say that Dr. Wizman and his entire team are extremely professional, caring, and proficient. They treat you like a friend, not like you’re just another patient. I received a lot of pre-surgery information and documentation to help me prepare and understand the procedure as well as attending a group “zoom” gathering conducted by Dr. Wizman himself where information was shared and everyone’s questions were answered. Now that the surgery is over I couldn’t be more pleased. The following is an e-mail that I sent to Dr. Wizman’s office. It sums up my thoughts: I would like to thank you and your entire team for helping me by performing the surgical procedure that will be a life changer for me in so many ways: overall health, quality of life, extension of life, my mental state, my golf game. You and all of the members of the Doc Wizman team are awesome and amazing!! I appreciate YOU!!

About 6 months ago I got a revision from my gastric sleeve in which worked n lost a little over 100lb.  I was my fault because over time I regained half of it back so I decided to get the gastric bypass instead. After my surgery with wizman I lost 40lb during my recovery but that's mostly due to the pain n fear of eating. Now that I'm recovered I'm 5 months in and I don't get full, I can eat my normal portion prior to surgery, It's extremely rare that I throw up even during my recovery.  Nothing has changed . Trying to get ahold of someone in his office or wizman himself is like trying to get ahold of the president.  The one time I did speak to him around then end of my recovery his response was "then stop eating" . Once they are paid I wouldn't count on much help so I would recommend another doctor for this procedure.  Its to late for me since I'm out of options but I hope this review helps someone else.

Can’t be more happy with the success from my surgery done by Dr. Wizman. Caring, fun, dedicated and a master on what he does!.

Unfortunately there's not a score less than 1 as my experience with this MD warrants a negative zero (I know it does not exist but that's the level of my repugnance). I always want to be fair to other healthcare providers as I understand the demands of the job; however, there is absolutely no rhyme or reason for any provider to not respond to patient's calls about possible emergencies. It does not matter how good any provider may boast about the success of their surgeries, what truly matters is patient care and let's not forget about the longevity of any business hinges on customer service. Dr. Wizman, I suggest you spend some time mastering this skill. If anything happen to my loved one because of your negligence, yes I said it I will use every avenue at my disposal to make sure every potential patient chooses another physician as there are other qualified bariatric physicians throughout the State of Florida.

Had the sleeve with Dr.Wizman in April couldn’t be any happier with the results the first 7 weeks. Dr. Wizman and his office team have all been amazing. The hospital staff was also Awsome!! I would recommend this practice to anyone contemplating having surgery!

I was one of his 1st 100 patients!!! Dr WIZMAN is amazing prior to him focusing solely on weight loss he was doing other surgeries and I asked him if he would take my dads case and he did !!! Dr WIZMAN went above and beyond and now I’m seeking him to complete my sons bypass he is extremely overweight and I’m looking into seeing about the insurance! The staff walked me through my surgery and yes they too are wonderful

Only the best surgeon ever! Dr. Wizman took care of both of my grandparents and they were able to keep the weight off for 11 years so far. He is genuine, straight to the point and tells you like it is. Whenever an issue or question came up, he was there for them. Thank you so much Dr. Wizman! Patients: Brenda and Gary Copoloff
