Contrary to another review I saw Dr. Bhatt has spent plenty of time with me during my visits and doesnt push unnecessary extra testing like Ive experienced before with other doctors. She atleast gave me possible options and next steps and was respectful of my views. I will continue to request her for my future appointments.

Stay Away. You can never talk directly to her and your calls are never returned. She has revolving door appointments and does NOT spend time with patient. I wasted over 1 year before realizing this. I have not received discharged papers but will not be back.I never asked for pain medicine nor have I have taken pain medicine even after surgery. The MA and Dr. Bhatt blatantly lied to my face about insurance and contacting insurance. They denied this claim and were embarrassed when I provided them evidence. They are not good people and do not care about their patients.I am still waiting on them to call be from their horrible messaging system.

When my insurance changed last year I needed to find a new doctor so decided to switch to Dr. Bhatt at Suntree Internal Medicine. My first appointment went well and I felt like this may be a nice office to visit. Unfortunately it is NOT Since I had changed doctors when it was time for my prescription refills I had to contact the office and this is where it all went wrong. It is like pulling teeth to get a new prescription called into my pharmacy. I would leave a message with Dr. Bhatts medical assistant that would go totally ignored two or three days later I would place a second call again going ignored. On day five or six I would place my third call bypassing the medical assistant and speaking to the receptionist explaining my situation. That usually would work and in two or three days I would get a prescription. By the time the prescription would be called in it was 7 10 days after my initial call and twice I ran out of medicine. This happened three times in a sixmonth period which I think is ridiculous. These meds were maintenance meds I was not trying to get pain meds. I always reached out 8 10 days prior to my pills running out so it was not like I was expecting a refill in one day. Last week I again had the same issue trying to get a refill with four calls going ignored and running out of medication so I have decided to switch physicians.

Dec 17 2018 I was having arthritis flare up in pain. My orthopedic dr was on holiday in CO I called his office for a script of prednisone. Made appt with Dr Bhatt she was my GP during the most difficult time having surgery at Shands. Up to this point I was happy. I was in her office explaining to her abt the pain and this was only second time this had ever happened what they gave me. She wanted to do labs I had no problems doing labs but right before the holidays. She would NOT give me anything until the results came. I said no and was leaving the office going to the ER..I was extremely upset I wasn’t asking for narcotic’s ... to my pleasant surprise my orthopedic doctor had taken the time from his vacation to call my script. I didn’t know this until I returned to my car and listened to voicemail. I called Suntree left several message voice to MA to apologize that I had walked out. To my surprise I received a letter DISCHARGING me as a patient....over 20 years and never an issue... to this day my new doctor has NOT received my medical records. I’m sure if Doctor Abe had ask the patient side...I called several times requesting to speak with him email or to return a call. NEVER received anything Maybe we are just $$$$ insurance money. As a person I found her to be very nice up to that point.

She started treating my husband by telling him “ewww” when she saw his blisters. She did not help him at all. Waist of time and money.
