List of Andrew Kelsey's Reviews
Like all reviews say,he is a wonderful Dr.with great nurses and most importantly to me,great bed side manners.A true pleasure to have him as one of my Dr's
Dr Kelsey explained everything to me before I signed any papers the injections were minimal discomfort. I was a little nervous but I calmed right down after the dr. Reassured me. He was very personable and friendly. The staff was wonderful.
Reviews posted about him are accurate. Great Doc! Professional, pleasant, explains well and answers your questions in detail prior to you asking. His assistants Nancy and Savannah are superb, great big smiles and both are so pleasant and professional that they set the standard for customer service in patient care.
Very knowledgeable, fellowship-trained Mohs surgeon!
Dr. Kelsey was so quick and knowledgeable. He is gentle and explains everything step by step.
I’ve been going to dr Kelsey for a few years. He always takes his time and answers any questions I have. My cystic acne completely cleared up after doing and taking what he told me.
Excellent explanations and care. Very knowledgeable and personable.
Referred in June for painful lump on face and swollen lymph nodes with history of MRSA was finally seen in December. By the time I saw doctor I had cysts all over including in my scalp which caused me to have to cut all my hair off. Doctor came in late looked at my face from across the room and diagnosed me. I'm thinking he hasn't even examined the areas or even looked at them. He prescribed a medication and walked out. I had questions and concerns however he was rushing and I was left uninformed. Needless to say I was extremely uncomfortable with this visit and did not take meds due to feeling like he didn't do a through exam to come to the diagnosis he pulled out a hat. Very unfortunate.
We had initial consultation for 30 minutes for my mother- Dr kelsey spent less than 5 minutes with us. I told him my mother had itchy lesions on her arms, upper back and legs- he quickly and for few seconds looked at the lesions on the legs but did not bother to look at itchy rash on arms or upper back- He was not very thorough. Did not even once looked at my mother or made eye contact- she did not speak English very well but she was his patient not me. he diagnosed her with stasis dermatitis and recommended creams, type of soap to use, steroid topical cream which my mom had been using for few weeks and not been helping. then he suggested using compression stockings. if that did not work then we can try photo therapy, oral or injection. Did not go in to detail as to what each medications entails but that injection would be the treatment because of convenience of injecting at home. told us to come back in 3 months?? why wait 3 months, 4 weeks follow up to see how she was doing would have been appropriate. We Will not see Dr. Kelsey again. he rushed through the appointment and I do not believe he wants to help people heal. we were just a number and he wanted to get through his busy day as fast as possible.
I took my 87 year old mother to see Dr. Kelsey today. I thought he was excellent, explained things in detail and took his time.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
