Contacting the clinic for an appointment is a full weeks job. The phone line is always busy and when it rings no one picks up. It takes 2 days or longer to have a phone call returned which is extremely frustrating. Missing a phone call from the clinic means you’ll have another 2 days wait to hear from them again.

Dr. Matthews is great! My only complaint is that the phone line is frequently busy, and therefore it is difficult to make appointments.

I have been seeing Dr.Matthew’s for over 5 years. I love her, she is kind and helpful and doesn’t preach at all. My daughter and husband go to her as do both my sisters. She really knows her stuff and listens to all of your concerns. I never feel rushed and she remembers me and my family even when I go awhile between visits. She current with her knowledge and her Rx's.

Dr. Matthews is a fantastic doctor. She's compassionate and kind. She's very helpful and never once have I felt rushed out the door. She takes time to listen to and answer all of my questions. I feel like she cares about my well being, both mental and physical. She has wonderful bedside manner and is very knowledgeable. I never have to wait for my appt when there and I can usually get one within a few days. Very satisfied!

Dr. Matthews has been my family practitioner for 4yrs now. In my experience, she is approachable, soft-spoken,& tactful with a gentle demeanour. Attributes: keeps her knowledge- and skill-bases current; has been open to hearing about new diagnoses, ideas, observations, and techniques; is humble, honest,& interested enough to do a little research or follow-up when necessary; provides info & answers gladly, and has always taken the time needed to properly assess, diagnose, & treat problems; truly professional; accords others of the respect, empathy, and just a touch of humour as appropriate --in the same way that she would like to be treated. Normally, she is on schedule for appointments--I very seldom have to wait: but then again, isn't the occasional interruption of schedules due to emergency to be expected & anticipated from time to time when dealing with front-line medical service providers? Staff: pleasant, but very hard to contact at times.

Have been going to Dr. Matthews for about 4 years now. She is friendly, professional, and always willing to help with any medical concerns you may have. Aside from being very difficult to get through to the clinic by phone sometimes, you can usually get an appointment fairly quickly - never had to wait more than a week. I have no complaints about Dr. Matthews herself and will gladly have her as a family doctor.

Very disheartened. Prescribed antibiotics for an ongoing problem and a return visit to her 4 Weeks later resulted in me being scheduled for a triage appt. I was notified that the triage appt. was 7 months later! Requested confirmation through staff with Dr. Matthews and was advised that this was correct. Ended up going through the Emergency Department for antiobiotic coverage and surgery. Triage? I think NOT! Completely done with this Doctor!!!!
