List of Florida Eye Associates's Reviews
I have been a patient at Florida Eye for years. Yesterday I had a scare with flashes and was immediately scheduled with Dr. Adams for this morning. He was very attentive and explained what was going on. The technicians all did a great job with getting me ready to see Dr. Adams. I didnt wait long at all to be seen. Very nice experience.
I have been a patient at Florida Eye for over 10 years and they have been unfailingly professional in all aspects of their practice from routine eye exams to more serious emergencies. Despite the fear and anxiety that a visual problem can cause the kind people at Florida eye are always there to peel you off the ceiling and make you whole again. The triage folks that answer the phones have never failed to be polite and caring and their voices have been a comfort in stressful situations. The ophthalmologists have held my hand through cataract surgery but really won my confidence during a recent retinal emergency. Dr Adams was wonderful not only in treating me but proved to be a kind and considerate person as I watched him deal with the other emergency patients around me. I also would like to mention the technical staff who did my various scans because they were great.
I had right eye cataract surgery done. It entailed a preoperative visit the operation visit and a post operative visit. Dr. Weiser was the eye physician. My experience with the administrative staff the nursing staff and Dr. Weiser was one of the best medical experiences I have had. Wait times were acceptable the administrative staff was very professional and thorough and I found the nursing staff very attentive professional and caring. Throughout the process I knew what was happening and what the next step would be. Dr. Weisers eyeside manner was excellent and he even called me the night after the surgery to check on me with a follow up visit the next day.As strange as this might sound I look forward to a future visit to have the same procedure done on my left eye.
I met with a very professional ophthalmologist at Florida Eye Associates on April 21 2021. A procedure would be needed and I was told that a scheduler would be contacting me. It has been over a week and I still have not heard from the Scheduling Department...really? Leaving messages for a return phone call has been to no avail.
This office is a ripoff for Florida seniors. I should have been there for one visit and a copayment of $55. The doctor asked me to schedule a return visit for the remaining testing. I was okay to accommodate them if they couldnt finish that day so I scheduled a return visit. They billed me a second $55 copayment to return for THEIR convenience and a $35 copayment EACH time for testing...a total of $180 in copayments. And on my second visit they made me wait for over an hour in the front because they wouldnt take me back for the tests until they could confirm my insurance even though it was my SECOND visit.
I use their Melbourne and Rockledge offices. I visit with two specialists one a retinal surgeon who follows a prior detached retina surgery. They are excellent in the management of my vision. Drs. Darlington and Ganniban.
I am not blind because Dr. Ravin saved my eyesight One year ago exactly I was told I was going to lose my sight then I was referred to Dr. Ravin. Dr. Ravin was tenacious in my care and was constantly thinking out of the box. She never gave up on me or wrote me off. She personally would call me had me come into the office Christmas Eve Christmas Day New Years Day after hours she made herself available at all times. Who does that? Dr. Ravin does that is who One of her many great attributes is she reached out to associates within the practice and got them involved with my care and they too became very concern about me. I m sobbing right now because I am writing this without any glasses on that is so amazing. Everyone there is so wonderful Front desk. checkout medical assistants billing yes even them they were very accommodating working with me on my bill THANK YOU ALL Happy New Year 2021 It will be for me because I could SEE
I guess I got the only manhating female dr there. She was rude from the first minute she walked in the room. Trying to claim I was blind. Never again.I will not be going back to this place.
I was baffled when I got to over hear one of the girls that worked there by the name of danielle talk about how she went through this guys file to get his phone because she thought he was cute. An how she started sending him nudes. I brought this to patrica barkers attention guess shes a manager or boss that has a ton of plastic surgery looks god awful and she just sweeped it under the rug. Pretty much shrugged her shoulders and walked away. I have no clue what type of business they are running Ill never go back
arrived early for my wifes appointment and was told I could not go ino the building with her. it is 94 degrees out and they want me to wait in the car. my wife went in and she found two people in the building that had several people with them even though it was ovious they did not need to help them. the online web site says you are set up for social distancing but says nothing about limiting who comes with you. my wife complained at the front desk and asked if I could come in out of the heat. she was told very rudly no well DR. WISER you just lost two patients and we were with you a long time but no more. your office does not care about the people that come there

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
