Dr. Ponte was my mom's doctor for over 2 years and he was absolutely awful. Yet all these GPs want to recommend him over and over. He didn't even know who my mom was or any of the tests he had "ordered" for her. He does not care about his patients at all. Period. Horrid doctor.

I really like Dr. Ponte, but it is impossible to get someone on the phone. Once I tried for weeks and couldn’t get anyone so I gave up. Now trying again and it is the same thing. I even leave a message and no one calls back.

Good luck trying to get ANYONE on the phone. We've been trying to call for WEEKS and every time we get sent to leave a message, but they never call back. Now my type 1 diabetic husband is on a days left of insulin having to go to a walk in clinic to get a prescription he needs to live. Don't go here if you want attentive care or any kind of emergency.

I had a visit with Dr. Ponte today, one of his helpers, Mary, was nasty and rude to me. I have never felt so disrespected in my life. She practically accused me of being a drug addict. Unfortunately I can’t change doctors because I have Health First insurance, but if you have a choice please find another doctor. Dr. Ponte is very good but to feel humiliated but a woman as old as me is very upsetting.
