If I could put negative stars, I would. After my wife had surgery, he lied and said there were no complications, which there were. He had severed her vocal chord and cut into her vagus nerve, which led to horners syndrome and a whole host of other complications that we are coming to find out. After a major surgery, his office didn't follow up for 8 WEEKS!! My wife has had to have five additional surgeries to correct the problem, and she will never have her voice back to normal, and her 24-year career in the Air Force was cut short due to his botched surgery. He has multiple lawsuits, and according to Tricare, he has botched a number of other surgeries, so now they won't send people to him or carry him. Ask him why he no longer practices at Holmes in Brevard and why he had to move to Miami.

The best surgeon. He CARES and he is GOOD. He helped my 80 year old mom walk again.

I can’t find he is working anywhere!

Januszeski has been barred from practicing medicine in Brevard n Indian River County! He moved his Medical Practice to the Orlando area! From my experience, and what knowledge I know first-hand about him is he is arrogant about his abilities n does not make his patients his priority! Had I known what transpired in his past, I never would have stepped foot in his Practice! He describes himself in his background Bio on his web page as; one of the few Minimally Invasive “Complex” Spine Deformity surgeons in the country! He supposed to be trained to perform Complex Spine Reconstruction. What a joke! He messed up a 3-level fusion on me that he said was simple for him to do! I should have walked out of the hospital when he changed the procedure minutes before I was supposed to have the surgery! After surgery I had a huge serve burn on my back that he didn’t know how it got there! Really? A year later and I still have severe neuropathy and pain in my foot and toes with lower back pain and stiffness all symptoms I didn’t have before surgery! I now have to seek out a real spine surgeon to try and fix what he did! Beware of this doctor’s rhetoric! Too many good spine doctors in the Orlando area to trust your health to than this self-proclaimed healer of the brain and spine!

ZERO stars! From my experience, he does not make his patients his priority! He should not have a practice! He tried to perform a 3-level fusion on my lower back and after a year since my surgery the front part of my foot is still numb, tingling and my toes feel like they are on fire. Also, I have lower back stiffness and pain! Furthermore, at my first office visit I asked if he could replace some discs in my neck instead of fusion after correcting issues in my back n he said I also needed fusion there! Since he messed my back up, I found a surgeon that said if a doctor wanted to fuse my neck it was because he wasn’t a very good doctor! New Doctor replaced 3 discs n it was 100% successful with no issues! Do a thorough research on Doctor J.! Had I known what transpired in his past I never would have stepped foot in his Practice! DO NOT be fooled by positive reviews! DO NOT TRUST this person with your health!

I recently underwent Spine Surgery, by Dr Januszewski, and was extremely pleased with the Doctor, and the entire staff. From my first visit, I experienced nothing by professional and friendly service from everyone. Devin at the Front Desk, Jennifer doing the technician work, and the Doctor were phenomonal. There are more names I cannot recall, but trust I found everyone in the office very efficient and caring. I was worried, and in a lot pain, and they worked hard to address both issues. They information they provided to me, concerning pre-op, and post-op care were exceptional. They prepared me for everything I might experience, and were spot on. Besides films to review on the procedure, they provided a folder containing the answers to almost any question I had. The Doctor and his wife provided top notch caring, and did it in a manner that alleviated my concerns. I thank them for the much improved Quality of Life, they have given me.

Excellent experience. Staff friendly and efficient. Dr J carefully reviewed and explained my situation. Took the time to answer all my questions and thoroughly explained the options to moving forward.

I have learned so much more than I have ever learned in so many years about what is going on with my spine... Dr J took the time to explain everything to me explicitly and tell me what my options are also told me the good with the bad. I've never felt so in the know for my future until my visit with Dr J. (very nice and patient) The staff was so friendly and professional thank you, I finally found my forever neurosurgeon.

Dr Januszewski explained my back problems and other issues. He was very patient and answered all my questions. I felt that he was very competent and I would recommend him to anyone needing treatment for spine or brain disorders.
