Jaime Tavarez's Online Review Report Card

Dr Jaime Tavarez, MD has always been a a great doctor to me for many years. Even if it is the end of a long day he took his time to correctly assess what was needed for me. I appreciate him for listening and his honesty in situations. He gets me to do things I need but always helps in every way. This is the doctor he is and is kind.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Taverez for over 10 years. He’s been nothing but helpful to me in all of my times of need as well as routine wellness check ups. He will take the time to figure out what is needed and process whatever tests or medication is needed very quickly.

Was very professional towards my specific reason for the appointment and management of my issue. Did not have to wait very long to be seen from my scheduled appointment time, and staff was friendly as well.

A few years ago I went to him he starts the regular check up then proceeded to tell me they do Pap smears. I say oh I have a OBG. He checked my ears listen to my heart yea we do breast exams Pap smears. I said no I’ve been going to my OBG for over 20 yrs. he’s like well we can take care of all that here. He leaves the room comes back and again asks me if I wanted the pap smear done I was like R U KIDDING ME!! Needless to say I never went back. His education looked great. But there was just something about him. It was just weird. I’m not saying weird is bad but just something not wright.

This doctor is definitely not up to par when it comes to the care of his patients. I met him one time and very unimpressed. Unfortunately, my parents have been under his care for sometime now- in the process of finding another physician that can provide the same services. He is cold, condescending, arrogant and just plain rude. Brushed my mothers symptoms off as dry skin, just to find out it was cancer. Horrible public servant…I highly do not recommend his services.

My husband was told less than two weeks ago that he has an aorta aneurysm. The doctor diagnosed this back in December. It took him 7 months to tell my husband. Disgusting.

I traveled 30 mins to see Dr. Tavarez and immediately I knew he was an egotistical Primary Doctor. He immediately suggested I take a medication that was an appetite depressant due to my weight. I had to ask a case load of questions because I would have walked out of the exam room not knowing - What the medication does - Possible chemical interactions with the current medications I was on. - Side effects This was my first appointment with him and I initially made the appointment for a physical but received advice on obesity and he stated that if I took the medication I could lose up to 100 pounds yet I would STILL be obese. His advice was for me to contact my Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to find out if there was chemical interactions. I walked out of his office feeling so low that his receptionist asked if I was okay. He rather apologize for arriving to my appointment late then wasting my time. Save Your Money and Trip. ???????

Very rude doctor....because I missed an appt and had to cancel one he had a terrible attitude with me. Very unprofessional. And his gatekeeper Pam is very rude. I see 5 other doctors at health first that are very understanding and considerate. From my oncologist to my lung doctors. Dr Jamie T....lighten up buddy.life is too short😏
