If you want it done right, go see Dr. Perry. He uses the most advanced healing technology to help you recover from your surgery. I had TKR and the healing is much smoother than when my dad had this procedure done 5 years ago. I’m loaded with battery operated devices that are suctioning my wound, injecting lidocaine, and squeezing my calves. Dr. Perry is very professional and straight to the point. I don’t want to say he has no personality because I’m sure he does, but he’s not one to just sit and shoot the breeze with you. He’s very focused and does not stray from the topic of your surgery, which in my opinion, is as professional as you can get. I will definitely choose him again for my other knee.
Unfortunately, due to the medication I take I get confused. You don’t need a doctor to beat you down lower than you already feel. I am an upbeat person and I try to smile and keep positive. I don’t let my inability to do the things I use to do stop me from doing the things I want or need to do. Bthe things I want or need to do.ut I made a mistake. Yes, it was a big mistake. I mixed up the side of my shoulder. I had surgery on. It was many years ago. I am having difficulty in both my shoulders now, so it is difficult sometimes to remember which shoulder I had orthoscopic surgery in. when I try to correct it, he was reading a paper he had in front of him and he told me it’s patients like you that makes doctors operate on the wrong side. I don’t know how else you can say that that was extremely rude, disrespectful, and demeaning. I have gone to Dr. Perry in the past and he was not like that. He’s always been friendly and patient and respectful. I don’t know what is going on but I will not be going back. That comment has me still rattled. It’s doctors like him that keeps patients from going to see the doctor when they really need to .
Great surgeon...but...put the wrong knee implant the first time, then less than 2 years later we did the surgery again. Not sure yet if the second eliminates the pain, but why would he make me pay for his retry to make it right. He is no better than an auto mechanic that doesn't back his decisions. Wrong spark plug, wrong implant...you tell me.
Professional, organized technology driven. You cannot find a better surgeon then Doctor Perry. He Replaced both hips and one knee. Thank you doc, you have given me my life back.!! As a tri athlete in my youth, pain grew as I aged. Don't wait!! Fix yourself today!! Live your life pain free.
Found Dr Joe Perry to be an excellent surgeon, and I have had many past surgeries (20) to base my opinion on. His skill exceeds many others in this area and he was willing to take on a complex bone/knee repair that several orthopedic guys were unskilled enough or were afraid to tackle. Fairly open to questions and willing to actually spend a fair amount of time talking and listening to his patients. So he is among the best in 30 mile radius. Only complaint is why a specialized surgeon needs another special license in this screwed up state of Florida to be able to manage difficult and severe pain in their recovering patients. But 5 stars for Perry in my opinion.
Dr Perry is a fantastic surgeon. His surgery team is also extremely good. His office team is very professional and very helpful with all the information I needed for surgery and recovery. He is a surgeon that you can really talk to which is so refreshing. I was treated like an adult and was very much part of my own care. I am 70 years old and Dr Perry just did my second hip replacement. This was an anterior hip replacement and my recovery time has been miraculous for me. The previous replacement took me almost a year to rehab and with the replacement I got from Dr. Perry I was up and walking the same day. I am extremely grateful that he and his team did my surgery.
Good morning if I could give Dr Perry 10 stars I would. Dr Perry performed a full knee replacement on me being 58 years old after 3 other surgeries over the last 20 years constant knee pain bone on bone and ACL repair us I finally got what I’ve been begging for - relief! His office was nothing but the best - the surgery center where it was performed (Intercoastal) is top notch! Everyone was just wonderful! I thought when I left there I would be alone I wasn’t, Dr Perry has called, the surgery center has called Dr Perry’s assistants have Called - all to check on things. My instructions were easy my PT is going well for only being done four days I feel pretty good (with pain killers) and my recovery is on schedule! Thank you to Dr Perry his office the intercoastal surgery center for everything you have done!
My first visit went very well..Dr. Perry and his staff were very professional ..will definitely schedule my knee replacement surgery with him
All doctors should strive to be like Dr. Perry. He listens to understand, asks appropriate questions, explains his findings and provides treatment options. His experience and confidence are evident as is his patient rapport. I'm always impressed by Dr. Perry.
Dr Perry was my second opinion. The first Ortho said I needed hip surgery..even tho the pain was my knee down my leg. I went to Dr Perry and after the exam and x-ray he said it was psuedo gout...gave me a shot in the knee and I am fine... it's almost a year Always get a second opinion..
