List of Larry Bishop's Reviews
I have been seeing Dr. Bishop for a few years. He is kind, thorough and his skills are amazing. I have him doing cosmetic stuff for me and I leave there feeling better inside and out after my visit. Would highly recommend!
Called the office to schedule a appointment, before getting 10 words out the office staff informed me she was booking months out and I should go to a walk-in. Any questions I tried to ask after were answered with "I don't know ask a walk-in". I have heard great things about Dr. Bishop but unfortunately the office staff does not meet the level of customer service a fast food restaurant should have. Overall the woman sounded annoyed that she had to answer a phone call.
I'm not sure how good this physician is, I never got past the self important office staff wit ha referral. They advised 3 months after my referral they weren't taking new patients. Totally understood, but with the condescending attitude It was difficult to find another provider. Memo to front office: You arent that self important as you think. People need to see a dermatologist for legit reasons. Get off your high horse and actually help people, which by the way, is your charter
I have no idea how good the doctor is because his front office staff stonewalled and gave a complete crap attitude at the first phone call. I get you arent taking new patients but how about some customer service skills and advice on seeing someone else. This is the first physician in Health First that was totally rude. Get over yourself
Never got to see doctor, only a PA. She wanted to do surgery on a suspicious mole, so I went to get a second opinion at a real doctor. When I told him what the PA said, he said no surgery was required and the mole was normal. I will never go back!
Both Doctor Bishop and his PAs are overly arrogant. It got to the point where they were overly aggressive in ordering what turned out to mostly benign biopsies... Obviously increasing their income but doing little good for me. They have little or no respect for the opinions of their patients.
Waited one hour to see an NP. Not a Dr. Very inconsiderate of my time. I would have left but had already paid my co-pay. Didn't apologize for the wait or my inconvenience. I mentioned that I had being waiting an hour to the person who put me in the room. The response, "sorry were running a little behind". Not acceptable.
If you want to actually speak with the doctor....DON'T GO HERE! New melanoma diagnosis and questions and concerns a plenty. Treated like a number and refused to allow questions answered by the actual physician. Cancer is not a hangnail and is life changing. Would not recommend this practice.
I had Mohs surgery on my face and in 7 days the scar was hardly visable. Dr Bishop was very friendly and made me feel very comfortable and the nurse was great too. I would recommend them to everyone?
I have been a patient of Dr. Bishop for many years! He is a wonderful, caring doctor! Having said this, I am very upset with how things have changed in the office. For several years now, Dr. Bishop no longer sees his patients for their skin checks. There was no notice of this and all of a sudden I found myself seeing an Assistant who I am not as comfortable with. I have been lied to by the staff when trying to get in for issues that I was worried about and feel like a number now. I go to this office because I have all the trust in the world in my doctor but what good is that, if you can't see him unless you need surgery?? Feeling Frustrated and Sad because Dr. Bishop himself is Awesome! I am told I will have to ask Dr. Bishop sometimes when I have questions and wonder why I can't make my appointment with him to begin with. I don't know what to do!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
