Dr. Saved my life. He worked in surgery ALL night, to replace a blown heart valve and a abscess on the back of the heart. Very informative, and good communications that you can understand. If it would happen it again ....I want him again....also I liked his staff.

Dr. Campbell saved my life. From my diagnosis to my surgery was two days. He has a clear matter of fact way to explain what’s going to happen and he was 100% correct. I had my Aortic valve replaced and two weeks later was walking three miles and have never felt better. Thank You to Dr Campbell and his staff for being amazing!

Dr. Campbell and his staff have been incredible during my mom's open heart surgery and Post-Op. Dr. Campbell spoke to me twice, personally, on surgery day. He answered all my questions and more. His staff was excellent, keeping me informed during the surgery. My mom had some Post-Op issues (non-heart related) and again Dr. Campbell's staff immediately stepped-up to assist. Certainly one of the best Doctors and Staff that I have every worked with. I would highly recommend them to everyone.

My partner was sent to Dr Campbell for a surgery consult after having a ventral hernia repair that uncovered something odd: For some reason, he had 2 enlarged holes in his interior diaphram. Dr.Campbell looked into this odd finding, consulted with Dr. Allison, who had just done the successful hernia surgery, and then explained the situation to us. He also thoroughly explained his preference for course of treatment, and listened to our concerns, answering questions. We were impressed by both professionals, their communication, and friendly manners. I can't imagine either doctor getting any rating that is less than 5 stars!

My Mother had a TAVR procedure at 92 which went very well and replaced her aortic valve without thoracic surgery, through her femoral artery. It was successful and she’s now 95 and doing well. Dr. Campbell was excellent.

Dr Campbell saved my life. He did open heart surgery to repair a mitral valve and a maze procedure and other types of repairs Jan 8, 2014. He was amazing. I owe my life to him. I was his first surgery that morning I was in for 10 hours. The chest scar was minimal. A few 1/2 in scars very cosmetically nice. He's the best. If you need a heart surgeon he's the man to see. My wife came into the hospital with bacterial endocarditis. Her mitral valve was gone, and she was completely septic. 80% of her blood was not flowing, and she was experiencing a cytokine storm causing multi system organ failure, she was literally circling the drain. Dr Campbell installed an Impella device to temporarily restore blow flow so they could treat her with antibiotics. After 2 days Dr. Campbell told me it was the best time to try and perform the surgery to repair my wife's valve and save her life. He told me up front she had a 20-40% chance of survival. But we figured it was time to go for broke. He repaired her heart, and she made the a full recovery, no complications, no damage to other organs due to the cytokine storm, it was a miracle best case scenario. This man is the best surgeon, and I will forever be grateful to him and Holmes Regional.

Jan 2017 Dr Campbell replaced my aortic valve. He went through my ribs and didn't break my sternum. He's a terrific surgeon.

Dr. (using the term loosely) Campbell operated on my mother, presenting the surgery as a zero recovery surgery, in other words, piece of cake, walk in the park, no worries, be happy. Well, evidently we misinterpreted his zero recovery comment because zero recovery meant NO RECOVERY! Can't even begin to express my anger when his PA enlightened me post surgery that this surgery was experimental. WHAT????!!!! Obviously we weren't aware of that or we would never had agreed to the surgery. The surgery was performed, not to save my mother's life, but to increase her quality of life. It took several months for the aftereffects of Dr. Campbell's surgery to take my mother's life, but take it, it did. To add additional pain to our hearts, Dr. Campbell's office called four months after my mother passed to schedule her follow up visit. Sure, grab a spade and let's dig her up.
