Dr. Mateos may or may not be an excellent physician but his staff, although very polite, was not honest about when I might get in to see him, instead implying that something would happen within a few days until I pressed her as to when exactly Dr. Mateos would see me or review the paperwork forwarded by my referring physician. If she had been forthcoming, I would have tried to find another doctor to get treatment BEFORE I end up in the hospital. All I ask is that staff be honest about when I might actually see the doctor rather than leading me along and causing me to lose another week before treatment.

Discourteous, Rude. Unprofessional. Inappropriate comments with regard to medical condition. Not knowledgeable enough about treatment of condition. Had great experience with Chinese herbalist instead.

Dr. Mora is the first doctor I have ever experienced that will take the time needed to address what you came in for. He does not look at the clock, and instead takes the time needed to explain and/or treat your ailment. He is a holistic medicine leaning practitioner, but he's not averse to conventional treament and medication. He has been 100% accurate with diagnosing the full spectrum of concerns I brought him to date. He was immediately succesfull in uncovering a food allergy my wife suffered with for 20 years, that her former doctor dismissed and refused to even address as anything but the wrongful diagnosis of asthma. As an individual, Dr. Mora is a kind, gentle and caring soul. His staff is friendly, but they do seem at times challenged with processing some of the administrative end of the office, but it's not a deal breaker.
