thank you Dr Ormond Mendes for saving my life. Im now 73yrs old and apart from 2 herniated discs lumbar spine and 6 stents in LAD & RCA since 2001, I am cardiac well thanks to the Brompton in London (Dr J. Clague). I have been alcohol and cocaine free for 30 years and am happily married to a lovely English/Italian man 7yrs my jnr. We broadcast on radio weekly worldwide and met @ hospital radio. You said i would probably die in 1983 but im still here thanks to your bowel resection X 2 around that time. I weighed 6stone! Now im 10half stone and well exept forr a disability with my spine and atherosclerosis?! My only gripe is because of L4 & L5 herniated discs i can no longer walk far without severe pain. However i just thank you from the bottom of my heart every day. I was very unhappy in Trini with Richard. I had a terrible crush on you Mr blue & green eyes. My husband Alan thanks you too he knows how unkind Richard could be. Im still in touch with Rachael Nicholson who lost her dad & mum so young. She & her husband Jean husband are trying to come to England to live (hubby is Half Trinidadian and half English. ) She still calls me Aunty and we facebook each other regularly! I would recommend Dr. Mendes in a heartbeat. He put me at ease and explained my surgical procedure. He covered all the bases with his expert training and experience. After surgery, his bedside manner was expeditious and efficient as he is a busy doctor. If you want an experienced, knowledgable surgeon, look no further. I owe my life to this doctor. I must give equal credit to his team doctor, Dr. Battalini.

A genuine doctor with a "BIG HEART"....May God continue to bless and guide him in all that he does...Words cannot express the gratitude we have for this individual. "After God is Ormond" He never turned his back on his people from Trinidad..This month I celebrate 12 years cancer free thanks to Dr. Ormond Mendes..We love u and treasure you forever
