Performed emergency surgery. Surgery performed in least intrusive manner possible for a perforation wound to the colon post colonoscopy by another physician. Also removed a section of colon that had adhesions and poor circulation. Wounds are healed with no untoward reactions no infection. He communicated clearly and gave me the opportunity to ask questions. I was highly pleased with the surgical success and his professionalism.

My husband had a great meet with this physician, unfortunately his staff is horrible. He went in to his consult three weeks passed and his post of instructions were not sent to him. I had to call, then the staff has treated my husband like he is begging for their service. I as a UT Physician patient have never experienced such service. This staff just thought about the money an not the patient. I was a surgery scheduler myself and I never treated people the way these people did. How can I trust my husband's life in the hands of someone who does not have their staff on check.

My first meeting of Dr Peter Walker was him calling me back because he was an on call Dr at Newfit clinic. Within a couple hours I was in emergency surgery, I had a twisted, perforated bowel with blockage. I was throwing up liquid still. He not only saved my life but I seen him daily and someone from the Newfit team. My surgeon was on vacation at the time.he did 2 surgeries on me in 2 days.During my 9 day stay in the hospital he was very helpful not only to me but my 2 adult children who were there for my surgeries. Dr Walker and team went well above 100% patient care. He explained every procedure and what to expect in future with my new medical history. Thank you for being my surgeon.
