He treated me when I was admitted into Viera Hospital on 2 different occasions. He was so incredibly down to earth with a great sense of humor. He actually came into the room and sat with me answering any questions I may have had instead of just the quick in and out like I'm used to with doctors I don't understand the comments here about arrogance, because I sure didn't see a trace of it. Matter of fact, a couple of weeks after my discharge I received a call from him.. just calling to see how I was doing. I mean, who does that these days? Being hospitalized is no fun but in my opinion if you do have to be, this would definitely be a doctor you should hope to get on your care team.

Dr. Claeys is one of the very few doctors I feel comfortable with. He didn't just run in and out of my room; he took the time to talk to me about what was going on and to address my concerns. He helped me make informed decisions about my treatment rather than bullying me as other doctors have done.

While in the ER of Health First Hospital, Dr. Claeys proved to be arrogant, disrespectful? and unkind. His verbal tirade was unexpected and unexplainable. The likelihood of recommending Dr. Claeys to family and friends would be "never!"
