Tanushree Roy's Online Review Report Card

My husband was at Holmes and was assigned Dr. Roy for a neurology consult after arriving in the ER with possible stroke symptoms. She was wonderful. She asked and answered all our questions and was very helpful getting a thorough work up and able to explain everything easily to us. Her bedside manner was excellent. So glad she was the doctor he was assigned to him during this challenging time.

If I could leave zero stars I would. My father had a stroke and this physician was so rude to him and our family. She refused to believe he had a stroke and it took the hospital and the doctor over 30 hours to even have the MRI done. She also never contacted the Neuro IR physician in a timely manner. I now see why her ratings are so low.

A few years ago, I had been a patient of hers. I went because I worked for another medical practice in the plaza. She told me that my seizures are not epilepsy. That I had a seizure disorder. I tried to find out what that meant and what the difference was. She would not explain because my time was up. Well fast forward a few years and I am being told by a Cleveland Clinic neurologist that I do have epilepsy. He has explained what I should look for as to warning signs. Whatever you do, don't go to her because she is too busy to care for her patients. It is just a business to her and you are just dollar signs.

WORST DOCTOR I have seen in all my years. All her office manager and herself care about is the money from the insurance or yourself. Took over 30 days to get my medical records send to me, called and left multiple voicemails and never heard back, wanted to give me more exams when she never reviewed the first exam with me. AVOID DR. ROY go see another doctor.

Dr. Roy is one of THE MOST time wasting doctors that my husband and I have gone to. The wait time for SCHEDULED APPOINTMENTS is 45 minutes to over 2 hours. My husband had a seizure and no one could explain. Mind you, as self pay, we expected to get our money's worth. WRONG! She takes about 5mins to explain that the test looked good but the brain waves were irregular said to take more Keppra and I asked her why she said cause that's the way the brain is working. HORRIBLE. Never again will I go to her. I do not recommend anyone to go to her. Because it's asking me to rate it says 1 star but if I could put 0 stars I would

My first visit from Dr. Roy lasted less than 5 minutes. She spoke in technical terms when speaking with me. Did not take the time to explain my diagnosis. She basically came in and said MRI looks good. However, when I asked about my CT scan which the emrgency room doctor said noted some concerns Dr. Roy said she had not looked at the CT report but would do so and if she did not call me that means everything was ok. After I followed-up with her on my own she then told me the MRI and CT scan showed a prior condition which is not a concern.
