They seriously need to up their customer service. I was on the phone for 35 mins just to make an appointment

I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Stephens. He is knowledgeable, compassionate and a gifted doctor. He treats his patients with utmost respect. I was skeptical at first because my former physician treated me for only one area, so when Dr. Stephens proposed a comprehensive treatment plan, I questioned his decision. I have regretted that. He has given me a new lease on life!

Dr. Stephens has been treating my chronic pain for several years now with amazing success. I have been to other pain management specialists in the past who have shuffled me off to their ‘pill mill solution’, which for me is no solution at all. At my intake appointment I talked with Dr. Stephens at length about alternative approaches of treatment. He recommended a series of ablation procedures which have been an outstanding success for me. “Pain pills” have been kept to a minimum on a limited and ‘as needed’ basis. I cannot express my sincere gratitude enough for Dr. Stephens caring, effective treatment of me. Because of it my quality of life has improved more than I believed possible. Plus he’s a very kind, pleasant person as well as a knowledgeable and trustworthy professional.

Dr Stephens and his staff are professional, kind and caring. They treat everyone with the highest regard, Once you visit you feel as if you are heard, and quickly develop a trust that your needs will be met. Dr Stephens came highly recommended and I am so grateful to be in his care. I would highly recommend him to anyone in need of his services! Thank you all for the quality of care, and professionalism.

Extremely nice Dr and staff

The doctor nurse was really rude and wasn’t helpful at all because I couldn’t give a full urine sample she wanted me to wait in the office until I could. I couldn’t do that I didn’t go until 8 pm I don’t think they wanted to be in the office until than. Anyway I couldn’t get when I could come back to give a sample so I didn’t get my meds so I left with no help after having to wait over a month to get an appointment. I had never been to a pain management dr before I didn’t know what to expect but it wasn’t an unhelpful nurse

Does not listen, just talks.

Dr. Stephens is extremely nice and helpful, but while taking my Prescriptions exactly as they’re prescribed I threw away more than $600.00 in Cab Fares for the past 6-8 weeks just to have his office tell me that a Controlled Substance unrelated to Pain Management did NOT show up in the last 3+ visits! I’m sorry but I took my meds every day and I was treated poorly by the Assistants & basically profiled SUBJECTIVELY as a risk for Pain Medication abuse. I appreciate Dr. Stephens vigilance but I was an Addictions Counselor. I don’t know how my urine analysis came up negative in regards to NOT DETECTING THE OTHER PRESCRIPTION IN MY SAMPLES??? I would be happy if my Insurance Company completed an AUDIT OF THE PROCEDURES IN THEIR LAB. I went to Quest for blood work and that worked out Great. They had no problem finding the Controlled Substance! I do NOT want to see this Dr. again because I’m still out $600.00! I don’t trust him & he doesn’t trust me.

This is simply my experience and like all things individual results may vary. I sustained a sports injury after a year of intense overtraining and have been doing physical therapy locally. Originally I had an appointment next month with Dr. Stephens to get a cortisone shot in both sides of my lower back figuring it would only help with my recovery. I called them today at 1:30 to ask if they had anything sooner and the assistant asked can you come in at 2:45 or 3:15 today? I went in and was seen within five minutes of getting there, the physicians assistant was really nice and attentive. Within minutes of changing I was on the table and joking with the doctor and assistant throughout the whole procedure. He explained things step by step and I barely felt the needles, bit sore as I write this but that's to be expected after having fluid injected into your back. All told every doctor I have seen at Health First has been great and I would definitely recommend them to anyone. At first I was skeptical about a big box store type medical group but it really is convenient and again everyone has been awesome so far. Individual results may vary but give him a try for pain management and Health First in general for your other medical needs.

I went for an injection in my back. Dr Stevens is an amazing DR and a wonderful man. I was actually at ease at a nervous time. Staff is Great. Would Highly recommend!! They had me laughing during whole appointment. I shall return. Thanks to All
