List of Felix Sosa's Reviews
Dr. Sosa is phenomenal. He takes the time to hear you and takes your concerns seriously. His office staff is fantastic and friendly. The whole team makes you feel cared for. Best primary ever.
Patience is what you need to have went you visit Felix Sosa office more than two hours waiting , is all about money is a shame
front desk staff is extremely rude and unprofessional they obviously hate there job i had an appointment for 11 and wasn't finished until 1pm the doctors when i went back we're good and polite they did a good job however experience was not good.
He doesn't ask the patient any questions, simply speaks what he believes is best. He insisted on speaking over me constantly. His office got my life saving medication wrong 3 times, leading to me having to spend 2 hours at the pharmacy just across the street to make sure everything was correct.
This is a rating of Felix Sosa, MD and his back-of-house medical team only. Also, I’m not a patient of the dental half of the practice…though I may consider it based on my experience with Dr. Felix Sosa. I see Dr. Sosa as a routine, primary provider with no serious health problems. Firstly, Dr. Sosa’s medical assistant is amazingly positive and friendly. He is always wearing a smile and has a kind word to say (which helps when you are being weighted, squeezed, pricked, etc.). He is a joy…try not to smile, it isn't possible. Dr. Felix Sosa has a personable bedside manner, while also providing you with straight forward medical info (without judgment, simply what the science says). He takes the time to listen, addresses your concerns, and allows you to ask as many questions as your heart desires (bring a list with you, he will be ready). Like a true Dad and family man, he will even share some relevant family anecdotes to lighten the mood and connect with his patient. His care is far more thorough than I have experienced with previous providers. I enjoyed my care so much, that I convinced my husband to switch providers, and he has had nothing but positive things to say about Dr. Sosa as well. If there is a problem (like ongoing neck pain, or an abnormal EKG), he will order the necessary tests and get to the bottom of it, allowing for more effective treatment. The standard of care is great. …for that, 5 stars. For this review, I am not going to let my front-desk/waiting room experience affect my rating of the medical care….but I will comment on it, considering that it has been mentioned in other reviews. Yes, I sometimes have to wait in the waiting room past my appointment time- but I take the inconvenience in stride because I know Dr. Sosa is taking his time with his patients, as he will with me. Plus, it is comfortable and we all have the entertainment of a smartphone these days. As mentioned in other reviews, the front desk experience is an area of improvement. The front desk staff that handles check-ins and phone calls can vacillate between sweet/welcoming and impatiently abrupt and even condescending (particularly on the phone). It is obviously a busy practice and they are trying to get the job done, but I do find myself wishing that I could experience the same care and kindness in my interactions with the front-of-office staff as I do with the back-of-office staff. As a practitioner in private practice myself, I understand that an administrator is effectively the patient’s lifeline to care: They are the first person you see walking in, the person who takes your requests for medicine, who schedules you when you are unwell. Because of that, they can color your entire experience if you allow. At Dr. Sosa’s office, the front-desk position requires a high level of compassion and patience if it is to truly reflect what awaits you beyond the waiting room….and I don’t think it is there just yet.
Having worked front desk at a multi doctor facility, I have to say the front desk is ridiculous to deal with. They never get back to me about issues I’m having even when I am in pain, and new desk staff has attitude. It makes getting in to see the doctor or asking the doctor a question impossible. I’m bringing it up at my next appointment. I don’t know how they get away with half the stuff front desk does.
Before I put what I’m upset about, I want to say I love Dr. Felix Sosa and Dr. Dania Sosa, they are both FANTASTIC, Kayla and Lotty are also super excellent as well as whoever schedules you after an appointment with Dr. Felix Sosa (sorry forget your name) My issue is with the front desk. It seems like lately I can’t even get through the phone lines during business hours. My voicemails aren’t returned, they have been having a LOT of attitude and it’s so hard for them to get back to you about an issue in the same business day. If I don’t call back to ask about something I called about I don’t hear back. It’s to the point I called on a Wednesday regarding medication I was out of and I had to call the following Monday and still didn’t get any help. I have also had issues with them being consistent with saying they will check in on something for me and I never hear back. I know office gets busy, but the front desk is the face of your practice. It makes it so frustrating to keep coming back. They just don’t seem as friendly as they used to be. The other issue is wait times. I am ALWAYS early for my appointment and the wait time could be anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours, and that’s just not okay I have so little time to spare. If it wasn’t for the attitude and the fact that I can never reach the front desk or depend on them to follow through with what they are saying they will do I would give 5 stars.
He always takes extra time to listen. He takes care of my whole family. The best.
Terrible experience with the staff. I had my appointment canceled by them and rescheduled to next week. I didn’t have any confirmation the day before the second appointment. At the day of the appointment I got confused about the time (10:30 or 10:40). Since 9 am I tried hard to reach them to confirm the time. I left 3 messages but, any one called me back. I was arriving for 10:40 when Barbara picked my call up. She said I needed to reschedule because 10 min delay. She even tried to understand the situation or squeeze me up. I needed to understand when they canceled my appointment, but they don’t gave any attention of my medical needs. I think Dr Sosa don’t need more pacientes! Never more!! I quit!
Love DR SOSA! The staff is fantastic and sweet.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
