James Elmer's Online Review Report Card

He called my girl trying to hook up, yes I have proof, dirtbag hope his wife finds out doesn't have the nads to call me and explain either, he just married Tina less than a year ago as well. Feel bad for her he's already trying to interfere with our life news flash not happening.

Dr Elmer delivered 3 of my babies. He was the best Dr in every way possible. I highly recommend him.

Good first experience at Dr. Elmer’s office. He’s very intelligent and thorough in his visits, which is a nice change from being treated like a number and only having 5 minutes with the provider like in other GYN clinics. He made sure to ask me multiple times if I had questions and was helpful in explaining things. The one con that I found was that the building itself and furniture and equipment are quite dated; it would be nice to have the environment match the friendliness, openness, and high quality of care that is being provided here.

Honestly I was skeptical at first due to all the bad reviews but honestly the visit was very pleasant. He and his nurses treated me with respect and he was patient non judgement and was able to educate me without making me feel stupid or a bother. I’m absolutely happy I came and I’m glad I made a joke that had the front ladies cracking up as I left. For the first time I’m glad I came despite what I saw.

Started seeing Dr. Elmer around 30 weeks pregnant with my first child. I made the switch after a friend recommended him. He has always taken the time to make sure my concerns are heard and that I am well informed. Most importantly he always explains everything that will happen BEFORE he begins any procedures. I would highly recommend him (especially if you are going to the health department).

Delivered 15 weeks early via emergency c-section at Advent Health because of severe pre-eclampsia which Dr. Elmer failed to diagnose almost costing my life and my daughters life. I had symptoms early on but he did nothing, nor did he educate me or refer me somewhere else. Said everything was normal. That's ontop of being incredibly rude and insensitive every visit. With The Health Department he can get away with whatever he wants. Stay away from him.

I have been seeing Doctor Elmer for my yearly exams for 17 years now. He always makes time to explain things and answer any questions. He goes above and beyond to follow up on other health screenings I should be having. Especially helpful going through the menopause years!

If i could give him less stars or negative stars I would. Dr. Elmer is a judgmental prideful know it all that let's his ego get in the way! And I would strongly urge everyone to use another doctor versus him. This man ruined my life and my family! The ratings speak for themselves 6 out of 10 reviews tell you what a p.o.s. doctor. BEST ADVICE.... I can give anyone Dr. Aimee Raup is an amazing OBGYN... she's very involved and cares a lot about her patients. Dr. Elmer is incredibly rude, condescending, and unprofessional. While receiving prenatal care, my family member received the WORST SERVICE by Dr. Elmer (not the nurses and other great staff). He was seen to speak to his fellow staff poorly. I was highly embarrassed by his lack of ethical care and lack of consideration towards how the patient felt and her medical concerns as a first time pregnant individual. Do yourself a favor and see any other doctor or practitioner for your health needs if you value ethical care, professionalism, and kindness and not a bitter unprofessional pretentious doctor, go somewhere else.

I absolutely love Doctor Elmer! His staff and him are always super helpful and friendly! He took the time to help me understand alot of the issues I was going through while being pregnant. Where other doctor's lacked, he showed care and consideration and helped me understand what was going on!
