I had been in and out of a fib, with high heart rate, for over a year. From Jan. 2021 to May 2022 I had two ablations, three conversions and two hospitals stays for medications only to be told that there was nothing else to be done except for a pace maker. Finally I met with Dr La Pietra who turned my life around. I had a very successful hybrid maze ablation done on June 7, 2022 by Drs La Pietra and Reschani at Mt Sinai. Now I am off all medications and feeling fine! I want to thank Dr La Pietra for his excellent care and for getting my life back to normal. Thank you so much!

Luis was so caring and had so much patience reassuring me about my recovery. They are fortunate to have him and Carolina who went out of her way to get me seen Thank goodness as I had a low pulse that I needed to get a pacemaker. I appreciate your staff!!!

Es muy fácil definir a un Cirujano que por cualquier lado que busques es prácticamente perfecto: ranqueado #1, practica desde hace años en un hospital #1, que se toma el tiempo para explicarte con lujo de detalles tu caso ( cuestión muy difícil en un médico norteamericano) y que para el paciente que está lleno de miedos y preguntas es vital se destaca por su humanidad que resulta en paliar tus temores y que luego de la operación te visita a diario té conforta. Para mi, el ranqueado como #1 se lo merece con creces. It is very easy to define a Surgeon who, wherever you look for, is practically perfect: ranked # 1, practicing for years in a # 1 hospital, who takes the time to explain your case in great detail (a very difficult question in a American doctor) and that for the patient who is full of fears and questions is vital, he stands out for his humanity that results in alleviating your fears and that after the operation he visits you daily, comforts you. the # 1 ranking is deserved
