List of Esteban Escolar's Reviews
Our visit was wonderful. Friendly, personable and attentive. Dr. Escolar is so nice and interested in all our concerns.
Excellent doctor! Very caring, competent, always available for his patients.
Dr. Escolar has provided the highest level of care and instilled my family and me with tremendous confidence. In the emergency room he was plain spoken, direct, and compassionate - he was focused on providing us with the relevant information to make the best health care decisions. During routine office visits, he is always welcoming while being up-to-date on my status and prepared for a productive visit. His office is well-organized, punctual, professional and offers a friendly comforting environment. Lastly, when I required heart procedures, I felt confident in his recommendations/referrals - I know I am getting the best possible care, and highly recommend Dr. Escolar.
Excellent! I saw Doctor Escolar at the scheduled time of appointment, I found him to be knowledgeable, personable, patient and very interested in addressing my medical problem. Because of his personal communication with the Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiologist, I am scheduled to be the recipient of a Pacemaker on Monday.
Best doctor ever. my mother is under his care for more than 10 years. He always give us the attention and security that make us confident to go through the hard times when it comes. Super professional, knowledgeable and most of all, present. I just have to thanks him from the bottom of my heart for the amazing human being, doctor, and friend after so many years. He deserves all the stars of the sky. Thank you Dr. Escolar. God bless you.
I have been a patient of Dr. Escolar for the past several years. Recently I had a cardiac episode that put me in the hospital for several days. As as you can imagine I was completely terrified. Dr. Escolar was with me every step of the way. Dr. Escolar was extremely compassionate and responsive to my questions. Thanks to Dr. Escolar and the entire Mt. Sinai team I confident that I will be able to resume a normal life.
Dr Escolar is an excellent cardiologist taking care of both my mother and father who switched to him when moving from NJ to MIami. He is kind and takes the time to hear his patients concerns and goes the extra mile. Thank you Dr Escolar!
Simply put Dr. Escobar saved my life. I was admitted to Mt. Sinai with serious heart issues (My heart stopped beating for twenty plus minutes) but I survived because of the superb care of Dr. Escobar and the rest of his team. I stayed in the hospital for five months and had continuous care from him all during that time and since my release have had the best aftercare in his office by him and his very professional team. Office visits are usually on time, well staffed with knowledgeable people and his consultations are very friendly and professionally accurate.
Dr. Escolar was wonderful and caring. I recommend him highly to anyone who needs a cardiologist in Dade county and beyond.
This is not a cardiologist that you want to see. After a recent heart attack and a trip to Mt. Sinai Medical Center Miami Beach, I had the very unpleasant experience of being assigned to Dr. Escolar. Not only is he evasive in answering any questions, he walks around like a pompous A. As you can imagine I had a lot of questions after a heart attack and after a failed attempt to open up a blocked right coronary artery he refused to give answers. He checked in once a day and seemed like he didn't want to be there. After returning to Mt. Sinai 2 months later to have the blockage cleared by a much more caring and qualified physician, I have heard from more than one person that they felt the same way about this doctor as his reputation seems to be well known. This might sound personal but it is not. He is just not a good ambassador to the cardiology department at Mt. Sinai.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
