We were lucky enough to have Dr Willis on call when my wife needed emergency surgery in which he found a tumor. Stage 4 Colon Cancer. He removed her entire colon to save her life. That was in 2014. My wife, the love of my life, was saved by Dr Willis that day. We will forever be eternally grateful to Dr Willis.

Very professional and good at his craft. His experience shows. I had a major surgery that took twice as long as expected and my recovery was faster than other people I know that had the same surgery. I also had no issues after surgery which is not always the case with a colon resection surgery (they had to open me up, not just laparoscopy)

On 07/03/1988 Dr Willis saved my life from complications from Crohns disease. I was bleeding from my intestines to a point I went into shock from lack of blood.I am here today because of his surgical skill

Irvine Willis saved my life on June 10 , 2005 in Mount Sinai after I was flown in from Port-au-Prince(Haiti) with severe complications after pancreatitus. After 3 weeks of hospitalization in Mount Sinai I was able to return to the Netherlands and finished my 32 years working period in the slum Cite Soleil in PaP. Who can tell me if Dr. Willis is still among us and if he is still MD-active in Mount Sinai ? After that lifesaving surgery in June 2005 I gave him a special name : "Wilson" like that special Wilson ball in "Cast Away" , considered by Tom Hanks as his most beloved "person" during all those years alone on that island !!

Dr. Willis saved my life through the power of his skills. During the entire hospital stay he came to see me every single day and had amazing bedside manner. I would not consider any other surgeon before consulting with him.

Dr Willis called on a Sunday in response to a health urgent issue that I was suffering with. I had left him a message which he returned in 10 minutes! His consoling words helped me not to worry and said that what I was experiencing was normal after surgery!
