List of Jackson Health System's Reviews
Since I’m a patient of the JHS with my PCP within the same office location was a plus from start. My initial consult with Dr Chousleb was brief and a rehearse of what my PCP had in the system. He had few questions to ask of me and the only interaction was n I had been speaking with and giving me my last in structiobs. The prep team was cordial and assisted each other in a very professional manner. Dr Chousleb came to see me the next day to explain that everything went well etcand what he was discharging me. The nursing staff on the floor was great at ties and sometimes I didn’t want to bother and tried to do for myself because I felt I was aggravating them. My I’ve kept going off if I moved slightly which is the most possible since you’re I pain and trying to get I the best position to feel better. I didn’t get to walk every hour since I had to be unhooked from the leg wraps and reconnected to move with the Civ. I decided to show me on the digital board the type of procedure he recommended for my health condition. I was immediately released to his Surgical coordinator with whom was very personable but like a robotic system. I guess she explains it so much that all she does is print the paperwork and knows her job well explained. During my 3 month preparation she was available and helpful with anything I was concerned about. My preparation of all paperwork and explanation from Idalmys was great Even after the surgery. She works hard I met her first in the surgery prep area and immediately knew that she was that perso
Came to Jackson North because I was referred by my insurance company. They referred me to Dr. Elias Chousleb who is a bariatric surgeon there. From my 1st visit in his office he was very nonchalant and very bothered by the fact that he had my sister as a patient and she had not followed protocol regarding the process after her surgery so he immediately brought out his frustrations toward me. I explained to him I am not my sister and to not compare me. I am to be respected as an individual patient. Second encounter with his defamation of character was when I went for my EGD. Dr. Chousleb once again defamed my character and said “ Oh I heard your sister was giving my nurses problems.” Once again I advised him that I was not my sister but an individual patient and should be treated as one. On the final day of my surgery he just stopped by my bed in the preop room did not even say hello signed the papers and the nurses wheeled me in to the operating room. At my discharge from the hospital he came into my room with his nurse practitioner at his side. Did not greet me but instead insulted me undermined and humiliated me and stated he heard I was drinking from the faucet from his nurse. I advise him that I was brushing my teeth and swallowed some water mistakenly but I did not drink from the bathroom faucet. He automatically said he did not believe me and that I am just like my sister and he does not believe anything I have to say he only believes what his nurse told him. Dr. Chousleb or his nurse practitioner never checked my incisions or asked me how am I feeling. They have no bedside manners when it came to providing proper adequate care. Dr. Chousleb is a physician that I would not even refer my dog too. This has been the worst experience I have ever encountered from a physician. In all of my years I have never felt my character or my integrity be demoralized because of the fact that I am related to another patient that you as a physician had difficulty with you automatically assumed judged and mistreated me. I hope noother patient will ever have to be disrespected and have an embarrassing experience that I had by Dr. Chousleb. As far as registered nurse Gina CNA Ingreed Dietician Idalmys the preop team and registration at Jackson North I give 5 stars. They went over and beyond to make sure I was comfortable but most of all respected and treated me as a human being. I got into the healthcare field to help others as well and to treat them with decency and respect just as I would want to be treated in return. Bedside manners hospitality and respect goes a long way. It speaks volumes to who you are not only as a professional but as one human being to another. Always treat someone as you would want to be treated and never ever judge a book by it’s cover or hearsay. Thank you.
Overall I had a good experience at this center. Up until time for my discharge I was treated with professionalism and care. I was however very rundown and weak and staff would not let me go to sleep. I really needed the sleep. When it was time to go home the nurse told my daughter she would have me ready in 30 minutes. She told me my daughter was coming and she was sending someone to help me change. But no one came. After waiting 30 minutes I changed on my own and called my daughter. While making the call the nurse came and asked if I was ready. I said yes and my daughter is waiting. She said she was calling for a wheelchair.. None came. I pushed the buzzer for the nurse after another hour. Someone came and I told them I was waiting for a wheelchair so I could go home. They said they would let someone know. After another half hour the nurse came back and asked if I was .ready. I said yes my daughter has been waiting two hours. .The nurse said to someone i could not see she has not been waiting two hours. Then a. Chair was brought. I fit in it just fine but they brought a bigger one. When the person with the bigger one saw me already in a chair she said oh And the nurse said its a snug fit but it works or something to that effect. Then she started to push the chair stopped and got a guy to come help. She told him that she had really tried to push the chair but had been unable to. The implication was that I was too heavy. Just rude And I believe it was all because I said my daughter had to wait 2 hours which was true. My daughter was the first to pull up. All 8 of the other discharges left before me. My daughter watched each one of them.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
