Jane S. Cohen's Online Review Report Card

I know rushed visits are the norm for most doctors but this one flat out acted like she didn’t care or value my medical concerns. Jane Cohen didn’t listen to anything I had to say and her feedback was completely unrelated to why I was there.

I have been seeing Dr. Cohen for several years and I find her to be a caring and skilled physician. Although I see her in her Mount Sinai office, she is now more often in her North Miami office, if I have had to see any other doctor in her office on an urgent basis, they have always been of the highest caliber. For a recent problem, she was accessible and communicative and followed up immediately, even though it was over the Christmas holiday season. I recommend her highly.

Went in for an ongoing infection, left with a prescription for SSRIs. Jane Cohen has been my PCP for some time and during my visits, she enters the room, hardly makes eye contact, and leaves after 5 min of a rushed conversation. I’ve seen others in her practice as well and they are all of similar nature. To prescribe someone such an intense pharmaceutical with no basis, which is extremely hard to get off of, was not only shocking, but in my opinion dangerous. In her words, she told me to forget about my problem and that my body would fix itself. Here I am a year later, my body did not in fact fix itself, I am seeing another physician who took time to listen and examine and now on the road to recovery with the proper medication.

This doctor had been seeing my mother a few years. She prescribed anti-depressants and muscle relaxers. Last year she diagnosed my mother with a urinary track infection. My mother was losing weight. The doctor continued to ignore the fact that my mother was losing weight. She continued to give my mom anti-depressants and muscle relaxers. My mother weighed 135 when she first had the infection. It's always great. She is probably the best GP in Miami Beach. I am a 12-year patient and I love her for her kindness, her knowledge and the understanding she has for the whole person, rather than the part that hurts. She's a great doctor, she doesn't dance around issues and she has made me a better person because of it.

I've been a patient of Dr. Cohen for several years. She is, bar none, the best general practitioner I have ever had. Her practice runs smoothly, she is kind, empathetic and gets to the heart of what is wrong with you every time. Her referrals are spot on. She takes the time to understand you holistically, so she can prescribe exactly the right thing. I can not think of ever going to another doctor here in South Florida. Ten stars if you had them!

I have been seeing Dr. Jane for 20+ years. I have followed her from Miami Heart to Mt Sinai. I moved to Palm Beach County 13 years ago and still drive to Miami to see her because no one else compares. She is so thorough and responsive...what we all wish every Dr. would be. She is the best.

It is impossible to get someone on the phone in this office. So frustrating.

Dr. Cohen is like no other best doctor I have ever met !
