Dr young is one of the best colon and Rectal Doctors in East Tn. Before meeting Dr young I had went to a doctor that really messed me up after a bad childbirth before going to dr young I had went to the Mayo Clinic Vanderbilt and the Cleveland clinic. That was in 1996 when I had my child . All said that I would have to have a colostomy bag.but I didn’t want that so I came back to Tennessee and saw dr young well I have had to have several major surgeries. I have had not one infection and it’s been 26 years and no colostomy bag. He is the very best he is kind caring understanding and most of all he listens and he will try to do everything in his power to do what’s best for you. When we met I felt like I had known him forever . I trust and have the upmost respect for him he not just a doctor to me he feels like family to me. If you want a great caring doctor then Dr Jay young is you guy!

I had a horrible case of nasal polyps. No smell, no taste, and no air flow through either nostril for almost a year. I always had a runny nose, and it just kept getting progressively worse.By the time I started seeing Dr. Young, I had started sounding 'nasally' when I talked. (This was after seeing other doctors who were only giving me round after round of antibiotics.)I ended up needing to have a polyp removal procedure, as well as balloon sinuplasty. As soon as the polyps were removed, I could breathe through my nose! I can't even explain how amazing it felt after so many months of suffering.Dr. Young is a positive person, but also very honest about what the outcome will be, and what may or may not work. And equally important, his office staff is AWESOME! 10/10 experience all the way around.

Jay Young MD is a top notch surgeon and an excellent clinician. If you are looking for an excellent otolaryngologist than he is your man. He is gentle and kind with a wonderful bedside manner. I also found his office staff to be very courteous and accommodating. They got me in for an appointment on the same day that I called them. I give Jay Young MD a 5 star excellent rating. In the last 7 months, Dr Young performed 2 surgeries and my first colonoscopy. Every time he was ALWAYS kind, considerate and sensitive to my embarrassment. I will never go to anyone else. He answered all my questions and discussed long term every time. The nurse was just as helpful and prompt on my needs as well.

Diverticulosis outbreak, went to get colonoscopy EVERY PERSON HELPING form The time I got there to the time I left everyone was so pleasant and wonderful! Dr. Young communicated with my husband out in the waiting room right after the procedure and was very attentive and loving as well as reassuring to my husband who was worried. THANK YOU ALL!!
