Dr. Jose Toledo has very little professional ethic. He never explained to me that my life was in danger because my hemoglobin was so low. He did not solve my case during my 3 week stay at Mount Sinai and he did not have the courage to confront and tell me the truth. It seems incredible that he has the responsibility of a rehabilitation center and does not have professionalism. In the end, he gave me a transfusion just to kick me out and his his staff threatened me, specifically social worker Carmen Atesnak, to place me next to a patient with COVID-19, emotionally attacking me and threatening to send me to a shelter, causing me depression, stress and high blood pressure.

Dr. Toledo's keen ability to provide a "spot on" diagnosis of my brother's condition was only surpassed by his very positive bed side manner.
