La mejor doctora. She cares so much and give you quality time. Don’t rush people out she cares about your concerns.

I am a 73 yr old woman. I tried to change my Medicare plan and was denied and was told that Dr Irizarry reported that I had a very serious lung condition. To say the least I was upset and emailed her office. Received a reply from someone in the office stating that a CT scan showed that I , in fact I had lung issues. I tried to explain (in writing ) that the diagnosis was incorrect and I needed it taken off my permanent record. She refused and there I was unable to get supplemental insurance. What I got instead was a form letter with her name but unsigned saying that she would no longer be my doctor. Good riddance! Unfortunately, there is another doctor whom i love, in that same practice. I am so disappointed!!!

Made an appointment 3 months in advance. Was informed over the phone that appointment was canceled because she decided to go on vacation. Guess this isn't exactly a review of her as a Doctor, because she couldn't be bothered to see me. In my line of business if I had so little control over my own schedule that I booked clients that far ahead of time and then told them tough luck, I would literally be out of business.

Dr. Irizarry-Colon is so much more than just an excellent Doctor! She has been my primary care physician for several years now and has always provided the absolute best care and best treatment during every visit, and for every issue. Dr. Irizarry is very knowledgable and cares deeply about her patients. It is rare to find a Doctor who is not only excellent in their profession but so caring in their manner. Dr. Irizarry's entire staff is also very professional. Appointments are on time and everything runs very smoothly and is truly first rate!

Dr. Irizarry-Colon is an excellent physician. She is thorough, has excellent bedside manner and is very knowledgable. I highly recommend her for anyone that is looking for an internist!

She started a televisit screaming at me and berating me because my last visit was a year ago. Yelling that I was not her patient, that she was not going to help me, and that I needed to go somewhere else. Completely unacceptable! I could barely get a word out as she just continued to berate me. She did not ask me anything, just continued to yell in a very disrespectful manner. I was unable to explain anything in relation to my health. I was not serviced at all and was subjected to her poor behavior and outburst. In no situation is it ever merited for a doctor to feel they can talk to a patient like that, ever! She is beyond unprofessional and her behavior was repulsive. To add injury to insult, she had the audacity to send me a letter in the mail- not with an apology but to once again tell me to go find another doctor and signed it on behalf of every other physician at the Physicians Health Group. She is an ornery and callous doctor. I would not recommend her to my worst enemy.

Leilany Irizarry- Colon is by far the rudest doctor I have ever met. Her bedside manner is extremely poor and shameful. Recently, I was not feeling well and in this COVID world I was very concerned.
