Lili Estrin's Online Review Report Card

I was a patient of Dr Estrin between 2008 to 2015 one of best doctor in my life, compassionate, listener, take time to explained my concerns & results extremely detailed, etc. Since I moved to Polk County/Lakeland. I am feeling kind of lost. Primary and specialists haven been over medicated me and I developed other diagnoses as Abnormal Heart Rhythm, Hyperthyroidism, Falls, uncontrollable Blood Pressure, etc. I am feeling kind of lost and I missed her so much. I always felt trust and confident with her open mind and care.

Excellent, takes time with patients. Thorough, a treasure

I just called this office and I am extremely disappointed. The woman I spoke to on the phone named Lisa was extremely rude and has no interpersonal skills. I am a new patient and I was just trying to schedule an appointment. She asked about my insurance and I gave her the information I had. She then states she can't help me until I give her more information, which I am happy to I just don't know the information. I offered to Email a picture of my insurance card so that she could look at it further and she laughs at me and says she can't help me and then hangs up the phone on me while I am still talking. I then call back because I am simply trying to schedule an appointment and she continues to tell me she can't help me and then calls me 'honey'. The office will be unable to get new patients if she keeps refusing to assist people.

Dr Lili Estrin is a wonderful doctor. She is knowledgeable and thorough. She takes the time to know me and my history. Her office is efficient and friendly. I highly recommend her.

Dr Howard Estrin is a good doctor. He listens and is very smart. I feel comfortable with his care.

Dr. Estrin is thorough, understanding and very concerned about the well being of her patients. I've been with her for years.

Dr Lili Estrin is my doctor, my wife's doctor for decades, and we have nothing but more than great to say about her, her care, her professionalism and her medical treatment plan. Here's my most recent experience OUTSIDE of her office - "Oh, you have Dr Estrin as your doctor- I hear nothing but great things about her at this clinic!" - My sentiment exactly! I not believe that she takes on new patients though - she doesn't pack her waiting room

When i made my appt I first asked if she took my insurance and new patients, I waited over a month for the appt because I'm sure she is a good Dr but.... as I was filling out the paperwork I came upon a page explaining how she does her practice. No normal preventative or wellness checkups that my insurance covers. She does comprehensive exams including expensive, not needed tests which would come from my deductible which her assistant told me was high. I know that! I also know I don't need a barrage of unneeded tests especially when it isn't covered. She told me I'd get a bill. I asked why she didn't explain how this practice works when I made the appt. no response other than that's how the practice works. I said I guess my time and theirs was wasted. Took my papers and left. This "checkup' could have cost me thousands. All they had to do was explain initially.

Very rude staff! Has no phone etiquette or proper protocol how to ask for medical records. This provider will lose its patients if they continue provide care this poorly

I don understand why she only got three stars. She’s really nice and thorough. I think she cares about the welfare of her patients. She seems to be knowledgeable. Sometimes I have to wait 30 minutes or so, but that is probably due to her interest in her patients.
