This doctor apparently missed the course on bedside manners. When a patient has questions, you answer them, not dismiss them, he was very gross in his manners with the patient, which is why I am now typing up this review.He has been one of the most unprofessional doctors I have ever had the misfortune of encountering. When the patient was brought to Mt. Sinai, I thought the doctors would be top notch, but instead getting something out of the trash. His surgical technique may be great, but it takes a well rounded individual to make a good doctor.Speaking to him on behalf of the patient to find out the results of the surgery was like he had better things to do and when asked to explain a situation so I could have a clearer understanding, he dismissed it and walked away.

I AM 82 YEARS OLD AND WAITED WITH THE POST FOR 1 MONTH AFTER OPERATION ON LEFT CAROTI ARTERY TO MAKE SURE THAT IT NICELY HEALED! NOW I CAN WRITE THAT AM VERY GRATEFUL TO DR. SIVINA FOR SUCCESSFUL OPERATION!ALSO WANT TO EMPHASIZE THAT DR. SIVINA DID NOT PUSH ME FOR OPERATION UNTIL MRI SHOWED THAT IT REALLY NECESSARY!

Dr. SIVINA saved my mom's life 2 years ago. Her Dr in Fort Myers told her that her leg had to be amputated due to severe artery damage. SIVINA took one look at her x-rays and said he had no idea what that Dr saw but he knew he could help her. And help her he did! She visited him today for her yearly check up and her oxygen levels in both legs are fantastic! Thank you very much, Dr. SIVINA!

I have only pleasant and positive things to say about Dr Sivina; he was one of the surgeons that removed my carotid body tumor and he was always very careful, thoughtful and kind. He did speak to me after surgery and explained how it all went in the operating room, and visited me in the ICU to follow up on my progress, he was also very attentive and kind during my post-op follow up appointment. He is clearly a doctor with tons of experience, so I trust him completely. His staff is also very friendly and nice. Would absolutely recommend.
