Marisa Messore's Online Review Report Card

Don't waste your time going to her. She is very arrogant and, most importantly, not a good gynecologists. She claims to know your body better then you OVER THE PHONE while I am waiting downstairs of her office BEFORE even seeing you. Apparently she is "too good" to "see" her patients. I walked out of her building (I didn't even go upstairs). All this over the phone. I deserve a doctor that respects me and has actual knowledge.

I called for an appointment. I talked at length about having the best day and asked if they would accept my insurance. Arriving at my appointment I am told they do not accept my insurance. And as always, by saying apologize, they believe they are providing a good service. Terrible customer care!

Dr. Messore and team literally saved my life. I went in for a new patient annual checkup after moving to Miami and their caring and curious nature led them to give me a genetics test that turned out positive for the gene mutation BRCA1. I’d been experiencing breakthrough bleeding for a while and no doctor could find the reason (or offered this test!). Being diagnosed helped me get the treatment I needed on time. I’m so grateful for Dr Messore and her team for her caring and intuitive nature. She’s also always on top of the latest technologies and education for women’s sexual health and takes time to share with me during every visit. This is what an exceptional doctor looks like.

I called 3 months ago for the appointment. They reschedule my appointment two times. At the end the set up the appointment with the Physician Assistant. For me it was fine, I did not want to reschedule again. Two days later they called me because starting from January they did not accept anymore my insurance that was on file from last year. Not the way to run a doctor office.

I’ve been going to Dr Messore after the birth of my daughter almost 19 years ago, she’s very pleasant and highly respected, she’s very kind and answers my needs professionally and for best of me. I did have a fall back and haven’t been going for my annual exams for several years, luckily my info was still available. Now that I’m back on my feet, the office personnel is very complicated and giving me and my daughter who is now a patient a difficult time to schedule an appointment. It’s very frustrating

This is 1 of MAYBE 3 reviews I have ever cared to post - I have been going to this office ice for 4+ years. As it was mostly routine things, I saw the fast paced service as efficient and organized. Until a traumatic event, and searching for a new birth control menthod. The doctor spent one session talking to me about alternative options (I had the IUD for 5 yrs and wanted something else) and any follow-up question or concerned was met with impatience. When I finally agreed to IUD (becuase i didn't like the other options and they gave little feedback on what i was actually interested in) the doctor said she would provide pain killers for the painful process. When I called (after they placed the new IUD in, and in SEVERE pain) she said she doesn't think I need them. Since, I have had severe pain and have been going in and out to diagnose - going for tests, ultrasounds, all with little to no action. Finally, I called for a follow-up becuase nothing has worked, and clearly something is wrong - and they said they're fully booked for ALL OF JULY and in August will no longer accept my insurance - So all this to say, I have never gotten the adequate care and attention I needed or deserved, and when my body is suffering, they are relieving themselves of any responsibility by refusing to fit me in before they no longer accept my insurance... when ANY OTHER TIME if I had an issue, they fit me in within 2 weeks.. which I've always loved, but they get you out just as fast as they get you in, and if you're like me, refuse to listen or treat you before they decide you are no longer profitable.

I can’t say enough positive things about this practice. Doctor Camila Paiva was friendly, efficient, and took time to explain everything when I was getting my new birth control put in. Ingrid at the front desk was also extremely friendly and helpful with making my first appointment with this practice. I didn’t get the nurses name who helped Dr. Paiva, however she was also friendly and let me take all the time I needed once the procedure was over. I had no wait for my appointment time, and I waited only a few short minutes for the doctor. I will absolutely recommend this practice to all my family and friends for all of their gynecology needs. Thank you so much everyone!! You made replacing my Nexplanon a breeze.

What a horrible experience I had in this place. Don't waste your time with this Doctor, she doesn't really care if you have a concern about your health. I waited 2 months for my appt, the day I got there the doctor I saw told me she was leaving then Doctor Messore would be available to go over my results. Once I got the results I was very concerned and I need the Doctor to explain to me what was happening with my health. Instead I had to discuss that with a receptionist that wants me to wait 2 more months to go over my results. What a joke? I asked them to speak with a Office Manager who was never able to accommodate my request. I have never been in a Doctors office so awful like this one.

I have been seeing Dr. Messore for over 6+ years. She is exceptional! She has been there for me on several occasions. One for example is I ended up having to go to the ER and while there I fainted, and due to the issue she was called and when I woke up she was right there holding my hand. She has ALWAYS been extremely sweet, understanding, and has always made me feel comfortable. She explains everything and answers all my questions. I can't say enough great thing about her! I also have seen Ingrid, the PA who is no longer there. She was also great! The staff is always friendly and accommodating. I'm shocked to see all these subpar reviews, when I have gone to see her multiple times every year and have never once had a bad or uncomfortable experience. My best friend also goes there and she feels the same way. The practice is bright and clean and I'd give it 10 stars if I could!

Dr. Messore has been my gynecologist for many years. She listens and takes her time with you. The office staffing is very efficient and pleasant. I have recommended Dr. Messore to many of my friends and family and they like her as well.
