El pasado 28 de Mayo del 2020 ingresé en el Hospital Mount Sinaí para someterme a una cirugía de bypass vascular periférico, siendo realizada por el Dr. Michael Ayad y su equipo, los resultados fueron excelentes, así como mi permanencia en el hospital durante los 3 tres días del post-operatorio, recibiendo una atención esmerada por parte de todo el personal médico y de atención al paciente, por lo que deseo agradecer al Dr. Ayad, al cual admiro y respeto, y a todo el personal que intervino en este proceso. También debo resaltar a dos trabajadoras que me brindaron su ayuda incondicional, en cualquier necesidad que tuviera, son ellas la Sra. Nicole Darville y la Sra. Luce Simon, para ellas mis saludos y reconocimiento.Mi experiencia en este proceso fue muy positiva, en todo lo concerniente a los excelentes servicios que brinda a sus pacientes el Hospital Mount Sinaí.Muchas GraciasOlga. Dr Ayad is an amazing individual. When you meet with him, his focus is on you the patient and nothing else. He fully explains everything and if you don’t understand he will explain again and answer all questions.So bedside manner is the best. While this is important the most important is skill level and experience. While I am not a doctor or expert in vascular matters, I can speak from experience. We became acquainted with Dr Ayad when a problem occurred during a surgery my wife had. Dr Ayad literally saved her life. He followed up as there were further complications and was always there for her. Finally, she had another issue which was was life changing. Dr Ayad prepared us for it and didn’t pull any punches regarding the high risk and consequences. He prepared well. My wife survived the surgery, which was questionable. She is still in recovery but all indications are, that besides being alive, her prospects for a much improved quality of life are are great. Regardless of where we go from here, I know she had the best, medical science could offer. If she had been the President I don’t believe she could have received better care.My everlasting thanks to Dr Ayad and his team.
