Dr Azuaje specializes in hernias. Easy online scheduling the examine and had the surgery a week later. I don't have a primary physician so Dr Azuaje helped me schedule my pre-op examine and labs with a highly qualified colleague. The outpatient surgery went as planned. I am super happy with the results and with minimal pain/discomfort. There are no hidden costs or multiple bills; one payment covered everything. I highly recommend you contact Dr. Azuale!

Dr. Azuaje is a very professional, caring & honest doctor. I would highly recommend him - My hernia surgery went so well - Only took 1 week to set it up - been one week after now and follow up was done- I'm feeling just fine and healing wonderfully. Dr. Rafael is extremely knowledgeable surgeon who cares about wellbeing of his patients. He not only provided the advice for pre-operative testing, but also called back on his own time and provided contacts. Finding a Dr. who is an expert in his specialty and also cares about overall wellbeing of his patients is what I was looking for. Highly recommend!

The services I Received from Dr. Azuaje were outstanding. The consultation was through and informative the Dr. answered all my questions and concerns with understandable responses backed up with pictures and diagrams. Scheduling from consult to surgery was fast and efficient from first contact to surgery was less than 3 weeks. The staff at both the office and surgery center were friendly caring but professional. Which made the whole surgery process easy from Pre Op to out the door in under 4 hours!. With little to no pain and limited restrictions (lifting mainly) walked a mile that afternoon and was allowed to drive after 2 days work after 5. The afternoon following morning surgery Dr. Azuaje called personally to check on how I was doing and every call I made to the center about a clinical question in the week following he answered not a nurse or member of the staff the Dr. which was incredibly reassuring. In my opinion that was the one thing that set the whole process apart from probably any other. Which is the main reason I would recommend Dr. Azuaje and would use his services again if needed.

Dr. Azuaje was fantastic. He performed hernia surgery on my husband. He is extremely knowledgeable, skilled and talent as a physician, but very importantly, he also is a great communicator, he is highly responsive and has one of the best customer/patient service and bedside manner we've experienced. I would highly recommend him.

Impressed! Saw Dr. Rafael Azuaje because of paint when training. Got a same day appointment when I emailed his office. He diagnosed 2 hernias. I had surgery 5 days later. Consultation, surgery and after care were seamless. He is always available to answer questions via email or phone. Very impressed! Highly recommend him! Best surgeon, hands down.
