I have seen Dr. Palmerola on two occasions. The first visit was a short conversation where I was not heard and diagnosed with recurrent UTIs. The same evening, I received my orino culture from LabCorp, previously ordered: no UTI associated with my inflamed bladder after a hysteroscopy procedure to remove two uterine polyps. Worried, I tried to contact the doctor. Impossible. Taken by the desperation of the symptoms (continuous urgency to urinate) I decided to book another visit (paid in full) in order to access the doctor. From there his anger ... first he sent the nurse to try to understand what had happened, and despite the reassurances of the nurse that I could talk to the doctor from there shortly. The doctor decided to make me wait longer than I should. When he saw me he showed all his disappointment. An entire visit set up on showing me that I am a old lady of 50 years old (he decided that I am in menopause despite still having a regular cycle) a humiliating visit aimed at demonstrating with coughs a stress incontinence that for me was not a novelty but not even remotely the reason why I was there. I came up with a diagnosis of recurrent UTI, stress incontinence, vaginal atrophy and menopause (the latter two denied by my gynecologist). No mention of possibile Interstitial Cystitis - this is what I have. And the hysteroscopy that was the trigger for all of this? Dr. Palmerola's answer is that it now belongs to the past, I am simply old. All this happened while he was writing his notes on the computer, he barely looked me in the face. Notes that I have had the opportunity to read and in addition to being old I am also painted as anxious and flickering. I felt humiliated as a human being. No explanation on his part, only prescription of antobiotics, and various exams... my questions were addressed to the check out staff who kept asking him questions via text message for me. I do not question Dr. Palmerola's knowledge and experience but the empathy and inability to listen to patients; no old or young patient deserves the treatment I have received.
It was great experience. The Doctors were very thorough, took their time to explain and ask questions. Very helpful !

I was recommended Dr. Palmerola by a friend, 30 years after I had been bouncing from doctor to doctor trying to find a diagnosis and solution to chronic urological issues. In less than one year, Dr. Palmerola found the root of and resolved my issues. Most importantly of all, he did it with kindness, patience, and charisma.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
