Best psychiatrist in town. Very friendly and understanding, listening rather than judging like most of the psychiatrists doing. Have seen him for couple of months and I’ll recommend him in every ways.

After I got Lost trying to park amidst all the construction going on around the hospital.. I was very flustered and late for my appointment. The receptionist was calm and took care of me. The assistant to the doctor promptly took me back to take my vitals and was kind and genuine. Then the Doctor was efficient and direct making sure I understood everything he was telling me and taking the time to establish a genuine connection to me! Whomever set up this office and staff did an amazing job top to bottom! Honestly that’s so rare! Highly recommended!

This review is more for whoever handles insurance information on the doctor’s behalf, as opposed to the doctor himself. I’m not sure how involved he is with this, but it’s been very stressful to deal with. I made an appointment with Dr Roberto Marticorena Martinez. I gave my insurance info and was told by the office staff that they confirm he accepts my insurance. Turns out he was negotiating his contract with my insurance and was not in-network for me at the time that I made my appointment/on my appointment date. I now have a significantly higher bill with them that I have to pay out of pocket (instead of paying my in-network copay) because of their mistake of “confirming the Doctor is in-network.” They’re not willing to correct this. I wouldn’t recommend going here unless you want to be misinformed and leave the place worse than how you came. I’m still stressing over this bill and my appointment was months ago in February.
