Yesterday, I had the privilege of accompanying a dear friend to see a psychiatrist at Mount Sinai Hospital in Miami Beach. My friend asked me to come in with him during the consultation, and I was truly moved by the experience. From the moment we stepped in, this doctor demonstrated the utmost professionalism, empathy, and clarity. He listened intently, offered compassionate guidance, and created a safe, respectful space for my friend to express himself. It was evident we were in the presence of someone who genuinely cares about the mental well-being of his patients. After the visit, I was so impressed that I called my daughter—who is a doctor herself—to share what I had just witnessed. To my surprise and joy, she told me: “Mom, he was my attending psychiatrist during my psych residency—an exceptional doctor.” That just confirmed everything I had felt in that room. If you or someone you care about is navigating a challenging time—which, let’s face it, is something we all go through at some point—I cannot recommend this doctor enough. He has a gift for helping people feel seen, heard, and understood. We all deserve support, healing, and happiness. Please don’t hesitate to reach out and seek help. Dr. Suarez is the best!!! I got so lucky finding him! I’ve gone to many psychiatrists in my lifetime but none as thorough and caring as him. He actually listens and actually spends time with his patients, regardless of time constraints. I’ve been going to him for at lest 3/4 years now and I love him so much that my mom now sees him too! He doesn’t push drugs as an automatic solution, which I really like. He’s not trying to make any extra money, he genuinely wants his patients to be and feel well. He stresses the many other (often overlooked) aspects that tie into good mental health instead of just pushing pills. He is AMAZING!!!! My mom and I adore him. I will say, he is a hot commodity and is constantly booked. That being said as someone with ADHD, I love that his office automatically sets up my monthly appointments for me it just is hard to change them since he’s so busy. He earned it though :)

Compassionate Dr. Suarez is an attentive listener who is passionate about developing an overall approach for your well-being. His knowledge about medication is important and he’s helped me to maintain my bipolar tendencies.
