To those people in need of back surgery with an extremely skilled neurosurgeon, STOP RIGHT HERE…Pick up your phone and make an appointment with Dr. Todd Lasner. You will not find a more knowledgeable, competent surgeon with a success rate, probably second to none. Due to a cauda equina emergency (after reading an MRI), Dr. Lasner was at my husband’s side by 3am one morning this summer, preparing for surgery. We have heard that with most surgeries of this nature, patients suffer pain for months thereafter. After at least one year of severe pain prior to his surgery, my husband has not so much as taken a Tylenol subsequent to this delicate procedure. In addition, Dr. Lasner’s staff was incredible and the office waiting time for (follow up visits) was minimal. We are beyond grateful to Dr. Lasner for his work and will never forget how he came through for my husband beyond all expectations. Many, many thanks from S&P

I went July 27th, 2023 to see Dr. Lasner for a pinched nerve. He saw my MRI and told me straightforward that no type of modern medicine can help me besides surgery because multiple discs were bulging and had stenosis in a some, I was nervous and scared because I have never had surgery before. He immediately told me that I was going to be admitted and monitored. I had my surgery on July 31st, 2023 and let me tell you, he gave me my quality of life again. Immediately after surgery I regained strength in my right whole right side because I had muscle weakness and numbness. I want to thank him for his prompt diagnosis and his professionalism throughout everything. Every day I was in the hospital he came to check on me and monitored my progress. My family and send our biggest thank you to him and appreciate everything he’s done. I would recommend him to anyone with or similar issues that I had.

Dr Lasner is a life saver. I was brought into the ER as a suspected stroke patient which turned out to be a brain abscess. Dr Lasner and his team were meticulous in their diagnoses and swiftly performed life saving brain surgery. He is affable, a master of his craft and supported by an amazing team.

My PCP had recommended this doctor and called him to see if he could see me on a STAT basis because I was in incredible pain, and gratefully he did. I had a herniated disc pressing on my nerves going to my right leg. He diagnosed the problem immediately, and recommended a disc laminectomy, in lieu of the spinal fusion that the first doctor I saw wanted to do. i asked to go home and discuss with my wife. The next day I ended being taken to the hospital by ambulance because I couldn't walk anymore and the pain levels had gone off the scale. It was the weekend and Doctor Lasner had me admitted and going above and beyond the call of duty he arranged to schedule me for the Tuesday after the weekend for emergency surgery. I can't say how impressed I am with this doctor and his staff. i woke up from the surgery and the pain had stopped, and my leg started to work again. The other thing that impressed me was he stopped in and saw me every day i was in the hospital.

My husband had his lower back surgery with the doctor, he is the best doctor, I recommend this doctor

Hi. I was suffering from a pinched nerve in my neck and experiencing continuous numbness In my right arm and It was driving me crazy, I got very lucky with my search for top rated neurologist/surgeons in south Florida and I found Dr. Todd Lasner in Miami Beach Mount Sinai. I chose him because of his patients left long and detailed positive reviews. He examined me in January 2022 and began telling me my options and his suggestions was to make a insertion in the back of my neck and remove the bone spurs and create a clen path for the nerves ,I trusted his opinion and went into surgery March 31,2022 , when I woke up from surgery the pain in my right arm was gone,it's been almost a year since my surgery and I'm happy to report my arm is back to normal and the numbness hasn't returned, thank you Dr.Lasner 😁👍👍

This surgeon is extremely unprofessional, three last minute cancellations over a period of two months.

Annoited Hands he has. Dr. Lasner, is definitely operating in his God ordained gift and calling. I had been dealing with pain along my back and spine for quite sometime, and didn't realize I was facing being a quadriplegic. I am a mother of 2 young children (one I had recently given birth too). After relocating to Miami, I never thought I would be facing a major surgery. Dr. Lasner, calmly care about me, and my ability to still be a busy mom. Wife, and all the other people depending on me to be here and mobile. God sent this man into my life, and I know it was him because of the swiftness, precision, and divine intervention that came with this. I am healed from a herniated disc that was leaning on my spine. 80%. 1 sneeze, cough or wrong movement, and it would have been very different. I am thankful for this man.
