List of Ruth Schobel's Reviews
My two kids have been patients of Dr Schobel & Dr Dwek for almost a year now and I am beyond happy that I made the switch to this office. Both doctors are so AMAZING! They are patient, kind, and truly care about their patients. The office is dated as others have mentioned but just look past it, because your children will be in amazing hands.
Very thankful for the lovely ladies at this office. They really work to make sure that your child’s health and well-being are the focus of each visit. Thank you for the love and care you’ve given both my boys.
Love both physicians and the staff is amazing.. TWO BIG THUMBS UP!!!
So far the best pediatrician doctors I have ever met. The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. The office is small and might not look updated but the doctors are amazing. I drive from Broward to see them. I would not take my kids to any other place. The level of professionalism has impressed me and I am extremely happy to be able to know that I can trust the doctors with my children.
Everybody wants a good doctor having a good doctor is important for your health is very important. Until when one of my doctor was going to retire and then he suggested Dr. Ruth Schobel she’s a very good doctor my first visit I took a blood test she checked our whole body too make sure nothing was wrong. She is strict about having important health and I respect that and understand that and every year you go there she does a blood test to make sure your okay that your cholesterol is fine and she’s always looking for a cure or something and she’s very Friendly and nice. Would suggest to go to Dr. Ruth Schobel if you want a very good doctor.
Dr. Schobel has been my children's pediatrician for over 25 years. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They call her their superhero
Great doctor for my kids. Dr Schobel actually goes above and beyond, very detail during check ups with my children's and is one of the best family kids doctors that my children have seen! She takes pride in what she does.
The first thing the doctor said is "if you don't vaccinate find another doctor". That rubs a parent the wrong way as if you've eliminated our choice in the matter. The next thing is the one parent rule of only one parent going in with the baby. This is unacceptable especially when the parents and child live together. The mother and father should never be denied both being present for their child's appointment. Last but not least, the place hasn't been painted or anything in forever. Looking at the discolored ceiling tiles 20 year old AC vents instantly leaves you questioning the cleanliness of the place. How can you be in business so long and not renovate the space in which your clients are entering with their children?
Scheduled a new patient appointment for my son, since his former pediatrician always had too many students shadowing her and no longer accepted his insurance. Dr. Schobel did not accept his insurance either, but I was willing to try her and see if we liked her. We were going to pay the $120 office visit and whatever else was necessary. They email me the new patient's forms, and I was surprised to see a two page document, talking about arbitration, agreeing not to go in front of a jury or judge, negligence and to have a lawyer read the document if I did not feel comfortable with it😲. However, it also had a seemingly thorough baby developmental history, that I found worthwhile to make the effort and meet her, despite the concerning legal document mentioned above. I was not able to, Evon (receptionist/nurse?)had called me to asked me if I was going to vaccinate my son, since he was missing the most important ones (MMR booster and chicken pox booster: they are not). I told her, no, I have a Health Department exemption certificate, and very rudely and ignorantly, she said the doctor would not want my son in her office to get the rest of the kids sick (with what?. He does not have any disease and is a very healthy kid). I was beyond words about her lack of professionalism, knowledge and empathy. They are the ones that lost a private patient, and potential referral source. Patients and customers need to be handled with professionalism and empathy. They are the ones that pay our bills after all.
I called for my first appointment and I spoke in Spanish and the person said that if I didn't know really good English to find another doctor because the doctor gets frustrated. Really? Llame para mi primera consulta y hable en español y la persona me dijo que si no sabía buen Ingles que me buscara a otro doctor porque la doctors se fustra. Lol ( Horrible first impression)

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
