Vivian Hernandez-Trujillo's Online Review Report Card

I can not express how I angry I feel at this moment. This office has shown lack of responsibility. I made an appointment back in June 2023 for my daughter. She has had an allergy reaction. Allergy and Immunology Care Center made an appointment for Sept 28 2023. Also requested for me to send them by email office@sflallergy.com the referral for specialty service form. Yes the appointment was 3 months later. When I finally arrived, I was told that my referral was incomplete and that my appointment was never in the system. My complaint is not the doctor Hernandez Trujillo its more the office and their lack of communication and responsibility. Why could I get a call about this before the appointment date of Sept 28. So I rushed to pediatric associates to get the missing referral information. I was told Allergy & Immunology has access to my insurance to get the number of sessions and the expiration date of these session. They rescheduled me for Oct 10th 2023 today and I just received a call saying the appointment was for another doctor instead of Vivian Hernandez Trujillo. They also mentioned that Hernandez is not available till December. Making my referral expired (Nov 18th). I cancelled everything since I questioned if it took me 5 months to get my daughter into this office and its unsuccessful how can I even bring my daughter to these people at all. I do not recommend this office at all. I just made an appointment with another doctor at Memorial Pines with Doctor Peggy Salazar and guess what they can see my daughter next week and no issues with my referral since its being sent now with Peggy information. So if you want professional and great amazing service to take care of allergy health concerns go to Peggy Salazar and you will be taken care of.

We have been with Dr. Hernandez-Trujillo since we discovered our child’s allergies. Among the many qualified professionals, her bedside manner is unmatched. Her professionalism and experience is as high as her compassion and empathy. She is clearly driven by her passion for medicine and kids. She patiently listens to all our doubts, concerns, ideas and suggestions. We felt welcomed from the very beginning. She made us feel like we were a team, and together we were going to handle the food allergies. It is an ongoing situation and her recommendations have been spot-on. We are confident she is leading us in the right direction and hope to continue with her as long as necessary, for many years to come.

We met Dr. H-T, over 10 years ago, as our child was recovering from anaphylaxis. We trust her wholeheartedly. Her level of professionalism and her warm heart is one of a kind. We know we are in the best hands. It is refreshing to see her take the time to train so many up and coming young doctors. There is always a fellow or two in her office. I look forward to giving them our story as I trust they will help many other families like ours. Hopefully these younger medical professionals will follow her footsteps. She is patient and understanding. Her passion and dedication is evident through her knowledge and research. She takes the time to listen and explain everything to the parent and the child. This may sometimes delay our wait time, we know she is helping another family, and we’ll have our time too. You will feel her compassion and empathy from the very first time you meet with her. While we pray our child outgrows his allergies, we plan to remain with Dr. H-T regardless.

Dr. Hernandez Trujillo is one of a kind! It’s obvious that she loves her job and treats her patients as if they are her own children. She is knowledgeable in the field and always researching the latest findings. We first met her when our son had an allergic reaction to eggs as a baby and have been with her for over 5 years. She is patient and loving and really takes the time to get to know the families she interacts with. She always does what’s best for the patient and works to help each child live with and hopefully outgrow their allergic reactions. I would highly recommend her and her office to anyone.

If you are looking for a specialist who is knowledgeable and caring this is your doctor. Dr. Hernandez-Trujillo is amazing. She has much knowledge on allergy and immunology and has treated many difficult cases successfully. Her patients love her. She goes the extra mile and returns calls and gives test results. Great training, great demeanor. You and your family are in great hands when Dr. Hernandez-Trujillo is your doctor.

I brought my one-year-old son to see Dr. Hernandez-Trujillo and she gave us all the time we needed to review his eczema condition and food allergies. We had a skin test performed and she explained to us the intricacies of the test and what the results meant. It felt like we were her only patients that day, the way she patiently spoke with us and answered all our questions. Now, I can keep my son safe from foods he might have a reaction to, like nuts, barley, and eggs. Definite recommend for Dr. Hernandez-Trujillo. Plus, her office is conveniently located in Miami Lakes, right off the Palmetto.

Dr Hernandez-Trujillo is incredible. She takes her time with every patient and always explains the latest studies. We have had to call on her on a weekend and she was eager to help. There is no doctor I trust more with the health of my children. I am troubled by the other review that was not based on her, but a member of her staff. I hope it will not deter you from seeking out the best Immunologist/Allergist in South Florida.

Dr. Hernandez-Trujillo is one of the most compassionate physicians I have ever seen. My son has terrible eczema and suspected food allergy. She took her time to go through every part of his history and addressed all my concerns with me. I never felt rushed or like she needed to finish to go on to the next patient. I have recommended her to several family members and they have had the same great experience that I had. The staff is also very polite and approachable.
