She took care of my kidney stone , only on the 2nd attempt, since the first time the machine was broken. At Palmetto general, because she lied about memorial hospital not having the proper equipment. I woke up at midnight in a wheel chair, in the parking lot, with a fever, to sign a release form. In the morning i was rushed to memorial where I spe nt a week fighting an infection. ZERO STARS. SHOULD HAVE HIRED A LAWYER.

the person how answer the phone es rude, she does not how to treat people. sounds like very old and decrepit woman. Do not go to this p[lace ever!!!!

I was a new patient, I sat in the office of Dr. Barbara Montford for an hour. Within that hour, I had not been given any new patient paperwork to complete and I was hearing complaints from other patients in the waiting area that they had been waiting a very long time to be seen by Dr. Montford. At least one gentleman had been there since 8:00 AM that morning. At this point it was 10:45 AM. I went to the window and rang the doorbell...no answer. A few minutes later I rang it again...no answer. After the third ring someone came to the window. I explained that I had been there for an hour and hadn't been given any new patient paper work to complete and I told her of the complaints that I had been hearing regarding the extremely long wait time. She offered to give me the new patient paper work to complete. I told her no, first I want to find out how much longer would my wait time would be. After about 7 minutes I rang the bell again (twice) she came to the window to say that Dr. Montford was in a meeting and she would start seeing patients after the meeting was over. Really, you have a room FULL of patients and you're in a meeting. Come on now. REALLY. I told her that I was leaving, that I didn't want to reschedule and that I was reporting Dr. Montford and the office practices. Would I recommend anyone to go to Dr. Barbara Montford's office...absolutely not.

the Receptionist or nurse was rude Tasha and she is not good to deal with patients. She should work in another place. Dr Montofford was nice and proffesional, but she need to get rid of assistants that are inept for this job

I called to schedule my son an appointment and her staff was very rude and unprofessional. I was place on hold several times as if they were clueless on how to book an appointment. They finally provided an appointment but failed to get any information from me, how would they know who's the appointment for, I basically had to ask and answer questions as if I was the one working in the office. Nevertheless I found another Urologist. Dr. Montford needs to get rid of those young girls.

Office has white dirty chairs, ceiling ripping off disgusting environment , the lady who speak English at front desk was not aware of the appointments and list. I arrived, she didn’t even say good morning or told me to fill in paperwork. Another man arrived and she gave him paperwork. Them after 30 minutes there, I asked for it and She gave them to me. Also They pass in the man first. After 45 minutes I asked how long was the wait because 3 patients where the for an hour before me. My appointment was for 11:30. I did the appointment through Zocdoc If those 3 where before me and they were waiting since 10am how long was going to be the wait? The un profesional staff gave me a bad feeling. I took back my id and insurance card and left the office. Then at home I saw all the bad ratings this doctor has. Same about dirty chairs and environment. Her and her staff, and has not make a difference?? I will not trust my body to someone who doesn’t care about her patients opinions.

Dr. Montford performed a radical prostatectomy on me in 1998. All of my cancerous tissue was removed and yearly tests have not shown any recurrence as evidenced by PSA measurements that have been negligible.

This physician is taking advantage of the limited number of specialists in her field and does very well as she pleases in terms of time management (or lack their of) and showing care and respect to patients. She will have you waiting about a month for an appointment, and over an hour to see her. Her staff doesn’t give good customer service and has a lack of attention to detail or phone courtesy. If I acted this way or an employee acted how she does I would have them on a PIP or fire them.

My mother had an appointment with this so called professional and she was horrible. She was very rude to her and had the nerve to ask her in a very rude tone "when are you going to lose weight"? You're fat! Just like that! Instead of offering assistance, this stupid doctor says this, also told her that she didn't have time to explain or go over her chart with her.. Really???! Sounds like this chick chases titles and have her head so far up her behind till she don't know the real meaning of professionalism nor taking care of other human beings. trust and believe I'm not going to let this go! I will be calling whoever to report her because that was uncalled for and very unprofessional. These patients didn't ask nor beg you to be a doctor, you chose this profession You took an oath to care and respect these patients. You're old as hell, so maybe soon you will need a doctor.. always remember that and you do have family members that will be getting sick as well so miss thang remember that the next time you care for someone else's mother or any other patient of yours. No one gives a flying freak about your degree on the wall if you don't have respect other human beings and you don't know how to treat people and talk to them that degree on the wall means nothing. Stop chasing titles and maybe go take a class or better yet go buy you some manners.

Her staff are the rudest most unprofessional people. My dad had a prostate biopsy done by her "technician" and ended up with sepsis. I called to ask to speak with her and her staff said she was not available--- the office manager got on the phone after I had been on hold for 10minutes started yelling at me that he never heard of a blood infection before. Shameful poor patient care and customer service.
