Dr. Fernandez is not only a very professional and knowledgeable doctor, but my daughter has a full trust in her, I have know Dr. Fernandez for more than 12 years already and my teenager daughter feels comfortable speaking with her with any issue. The new location is amazing love the vibe and the Office Staff they are amazing too very helpful. Yes her office is super busy but is because of her amazing staff and doctor that something they must be doing right. Highly recommend this location if you are a local to Miami Shores.

I’m not one to write reviews but Dr. Fernandez-Ortiz is a diamond in the rough. My baby has major health issues- eczema, allergies and auto immune diseases. She takes his conditions seriously and even called in a favor to get us in to see a specialist. She is knowledgeable and listens to your concerns. After 8 pediatricians, we finally found the one!

I called the other day for a referral. My daughter has h.m.e a bone disorder . The new girl in the front with the short brown hair . Wanted me to beg her to get a referral. Telling me I have to wait 72 hours for a referral. I've had many referrals sent over to the doctors office as I'm in the appointments from this pediatrics with out any issue . I've came another time where the insurance papers were missed placed . And instead of her looking for the paper work. She rudely told me I had to find out the information . Where usually the girl calls the insurance company and finds out the information with out a problem . She needs to be off the office front desk . She is not a fit personality . Where the other girl told me to pls calm down she is new . Her attitude is not worth it . Laura needs to get her off the floor it's not a good look for this business. And I will complain on my next appointment. To specifically point her out .

I had an issue with insurance/billing and Rosa from their office promptly referred me to Cynthia, who was super helpful. Dealing with her was a great experience and she has a great attitude - which is hard to find in general these days!

The doctor is great but her staff and especially the office manager Tatiana never respond to emails. As soon as the phone is answered they put you on hold for more than 10 minutes. I'm already looking into changing doctors because instead of helping us parents they tend to make things worse. No customer service whatsoever.

My son has been seeing Dr. Fernandez since he was 3-years-old. She has always been very attentive and personable.

We used to live 10 minutes away from Dr. Fernandez’s doctor’s office. We moved to Broward County in October 2020, but we cannot give up our doctor! She is literally the best pediatrician I have ever been to. I’m extremely picky, especially when it comes to my children. I love the way that she is so thorough and so gentle with my girls. I love the expertise that she has. The entire office is professional, clean, and just kind. My husband agrees with me that we have a keeper, and he is willing to take the long drive to Miami Shores for our kids to have the best care.
