Alejandro Badia's Online Review Report Card

Luego de sufrir una lesion en la muñeca derecha, fuimos referidos por nuestro ortopeda Dr. Ricardo Gutierrez en Santo Domingo al Dr. Alejandro Badia. Desde la cita inicial via digital, nos sentimos a gusto con el trato y confiados de las explicaciones de Alejandro. Nos pusimos en sus manos y realizo una sirugia rapida y sin trauma. Transcurrido el tiempo sugerido se removieron los pins y yeso y ahora estamos en terapia para reactivar el movimiento. No solo el Dr. Badia pero su equipo completo nos trataron con atencion focalizada haciendonos sentir especiales en cada visita. Gracias Susan Iglesias por tu apoyo y guia constante!

I am Felecia's husband who was the actual patient. I suffered for several years with limited mobility in my right thumb that significantly degraded my ability to type and play the piano. Over the years I saw three orthopedic doctors and clinics in the area where I live in Virginia and they all said it was typical arthritis and there was nothing that could be done. I was sure the condition could be improved so after a lot of online research I found Dr. Badia. From the first time I called his office, I was impressed with the professionalism, efficiency, and responsiveness of Susan and the others on his staff who helped me set up an online consultation with Dr. Badia and then schedule the surgery. The week of surgery which consisted of several pre- and post- appointments as well as the actual operation was very well organized and smoothly carried out. My wife and I who had driven to Miami from Virginia for the procedure were treated with consideration throughout the week we spent down there. My hand's recovery started very quickly and to my surprise I had almost no post-surgery pain. The swelling was largely gone in about 4 days and I started doing the preliminary movements advised by Dr. Badia's CHT. Except for stiffness and occasional slight discomfort in the thumb joint that was operated on, my right hand is back to normal and I was back to work in less than a week (wearing the hand brace I was given). I start therapy with a CHT near my home next week so time will tell if the procedure completely cures the problem I had. However, my experience with Dr. Badia and his staff to this point has far exceeded my expectations and we were very impressed at how smoothly it all went.

This has been by far one of the best and easiest doctors visits I’ve had. I fractured my wrist and was patched up in Jackson. I follow up with Dr. Badia and turns out they diagnosed me wrong and I don’t need surgery! The staff is amazing and very friendly. If you’re in need of orthopedic help this is the place to go!!

Had a very favorable experience visiting Dr. Badia for my daughter who is a promising tennis junior. Dr. Padilla was extremely knowledgeable which only increased our comfort. He was also able to see us with short notice which is something we are very grateful for. I recommend Dr. Badia and his personnel for any of your orthopedic needs.

Very experienced and qualified doctor. I had an on-job injury so I went to a different doctor who diagnosed it as a sprain. Bad call, two weeks later I still couldn't pick up a jug of milk. I went to see Dr. Badia. He and his staff were very professional and he explained I had torn a ligament and fractured a bone on my thumb joint. He performed surgery and then set me up for therapy. My hand and thumb are functioning perfectly and I owe it to Dr. Badia and his team. I wish he would accept Florida Blue insurance!

We brought our 17 year old son to Dr. Badia for a hand injury suffered playing baseball. From the moment we walked in to the office, everyone was kind and attentive. He ended up needing surgery and the entire process was extremely smooth and again, everyone we came in contact with was amazing. We had been to other doctors for this same injury several years ago and the injury kept getting misdiagnosed so it was great that Dr. Badia diagnosed the problem and took care it so my son doesn’t have to deal with it anymore.

Great staff and Dr. Badia very professional

Unprofessional staff and crooked policies of charging upfront for services not rendered or property billed to the insurance company. They make you waste time coming to then disclose their charges I would never recommend this place to anyone , what's the point to have a ppo plan with no copays If these practices are e forced on people I honestly think they should be reported to the better business bureau.
