List of Alexander Velar's Reviews
Dr Velar is a exceptional doctor. He takes the time to explain and review all your paper work, never in a rush. He treats my husband who was recently diagnosed with Congestive Heart Failure and now has been having some kidney problems due to high blood pressure. He is now stable in his condition due to Dr Velar’s care. I also see him for my blood pressure. No one like him and always with a smile and funny. We highly recommend Dr Velar and Carmen his office administrator who is beyond nice to all. We go to his office at Mount Siani Miami Beach.
Dr Velar has saved my life. I’ve had kidney failure for the past 5 years and he has been the only Dr to figure out my condition. He’s always on top of my things. Amazing care for patients, very caring and passionate for what he does.
Dr. Valar cares about you not only as a patient but as a person. He explains everything and takes the time to answer all questions. He also makes me laugh.
Dr. Velar saved my father's life. We were vacationing in FL, and he had emergency gall bladder surgery. Dr. Velar was consulted as my dad has kidney issues. Dr. Velar continued to consult for the 40 days that my dad was in/out of the hospital, going far beyond the scope of his responsibility to nephrology, & always cared for my father considering all aspects of medicine. My father was overmedicated, and Dr. Velar caught the error & had me turn the car around & go to the ER. Saved his life!
Very professional human and intelillent

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
