Almost one hour between completing forms and the wait for a less than 25 minute, give or take, visit. I was left in the room still naked without the possibility to get dressed while gathering a couple of thoughts and talk to the Doctor who did not even suggest me which product I could use for my skin which I did address while she was visiting and thought it was not the right moment. I had to call back the following day to hear brands over the counter (!?) celaphin sucks, glue on skin and if not, it is not the appropriate cream for me. Not a single word on how to help my skin or where to go, some guidelines... I did not expect my skin to go back to normal obviously but certainly I wanted to help myself otherwise it may become worse or a health issue. Why otherwise bother to go see a Doctor in the first place. I was dismissed with ' a life of sun'. ..well, I live in Florida... I am seeing my Dermatologist in Italy where Doctors upon a complete front and back visit of at least one hour actually talk to their patients dressed, sitting at a desk and explain accordingly. She could not even suggest me to assume VITAMIN B WHICH IS SPECIFIC FOR THE SKIN WHICH CLEARLY I NEEDED SOME VITAMIN which has actually improved my skin and by using a body cream with ozone RECOMMENDED by a Naturopata (Italiana). I was suggested to go to a sun center ?!! in Miami?? to have my calves spritz with tan! White spots do not go away, anyone knows that but actually with the right products and vitamins they decrease and loose some white. No need to get in troubles with sun tan centers of the 1980s. Not to mention, I had a little mole removed and told me on the way out paying: if negative we do not call. A few days after I received a call, which left me dumbfounded to hear NORMAL. Normal?? if that is appropriate language...NEGATIVE OR BENIGN. But okay, passed the cold shower moment I please asked if I could receive the pdf as I keep my own records. I was giving an attitude and received a PDF which is UNREADABLE. ! I called back and another assistant admitted: yes it is unreadable but you know you are okay. Robe da matti! Is that an answer? How about have your lab fax readable documents? AT $500+ not worth it. What a disappoinment. Regards.
Good
I have wasted money a million times in my life for many things, but the only one that when I remember I have pain in stomach is that I paid to this doctor 470$ for botox only in my frustration lines and she did not even remove them. I cannot believe that she could not see that my case is for filer and botox and for that money she could do both in such a tiny area, and give me half money back, but she decided to charge me 470$ for nothing. My wrinkles still were there. I have done this 2017 and now is January 2020 and just yesterday i did the filer in the same area and now it looks perfect and when i remember how much she charged me for poorly done botox, I had to come here and write this review, because this was by far the most poor and expensive experience. This review coming for someone who never writes reviews, now you can just imagine how “highly” i think of this place and doctor. If i can write -10 starts I would do it because of this robbery
I just left from seeing Dr. Cuesta and had to leave a review of how happy I am with her professionalism and examination. I was recommended to her through family and I am so glad I went. She was very thorough with my skin review and was very informative. Had an issue with the front desk about insurance but Dr. Cuesta cleared that out for me right at the spot. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!
Nice staff
Terrible Service in the end. Typically, doctor’s office – Have they ever heard of true customer service? When you make a mistake, you take responsibility and fix it! Well they don’t and simply said sorry you need to pay again. I was referred to Dr. Rivas from a friend. I had a simple procedure for an area that needed to be removed and biopsied. They called me back 2 weeks later to let me know they didn’t remove the entire area from my face (which I realized once it healed) and the piece was to small to be biopsied. Dr. Rivas said sorry I didn’t take enough, and you need to come back and we need to do this all over again. I said that’s fine but why do I have to pay another office visit if you just admitted you didn’t do your job correctly and take enough. You were supposed to remove it completely. She said there are no guarantees and you have to keep coming back and paying even if it takes many times. (meaning if she doesn’t do it right) I said look I understand you have to bill insurance for another biopsy and why do I have to pay for another office visit when you didn’t do your job right the first time to remove enough for the test. Dr Rivas’s response was that’s what it is and if you don’t want that then go somewhere else. Not Very professional. Here would have been the easy way to solve this issue and have a patient for life: Take the 5 minutes it took to remove the area (that you didn’t do the first time) and not charge me. That’s customer service. So when Dr. Rivas and staff reads this review hopefully they will learn what’s more important.: A few bucks, happy patients or bad reviews!!!!! Live & Learn I guess.
I've been going to this Dermatologist for years. I have relatively sensitive skin. Dr. Barba helped me fix the botched skin results from another well-known Miami dermatologist. She also helped me figure out my allergies that were impacting my skin. I have NEVER had a bad experience with the customer service and have always found them to be quite accommodating. I'm also a client of the Barba Skin Clinic; my favorite esthetician is Stella. I have referred several other people to her over the years. The clinic is downstairs from the office and the customer service at the clinic is also great.
I did go to this office often just because it was close and fairly easy to get an appointment, I like the doctors but two reasons why I stopped going. 1. Product pushing (I even specifically said one time as I was making an appointment over the phone, please be sure nobody tries to push any products on me when I leave) It's annoying when you don't feel well and they are showing some product suggestions, totally insensitive) 2. Taking a payment as soon as you walk in, I've NEVER had that ever happen with any doctor's office. I've since moved on ..I give two stars for the doctor's I saw- who were thorough and efficient) but that is also called doing your job...but I digress.
My Doctor was Dr Rivas, she took care of my concern, and i also had some moles taking care, and the staff was Great. If you need to see a Dermatologist this the place.
Awesome service from Dr Rivas - everybody is very nice - all the assistants etc...Highly recommended

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
