Alicia Carter Md's Online Review Report Card

I recently had a PRP treatment about 1 month ago to my face for facial rejuvenation with Dr. Carter and she is excellent. She is extremely knowledgeable and I felt so comfortable under her care. She really takes the time to fully understand your medical history and your concerns (she is very thorough). I am SO happy with my results. I feel like I got a facelift without surgery! Dr. Carter is an absolute pleasure to be around and I cannot recommend her enough!

I was having Sciatia Pain for over a year, I tried everything, from Chiropractors, Pain Mgt Doctor, PT, Muscle Relaxers, Motrin, Seat Cushions, various stretching and exercising, I even bought some of the gimics you see on Facebook and tic toc that claim to help, nothing really helped, until I saw Alicia, I brought xrays, CT scan and MRI results and she sat with me for 2 hours, examined me and on the same day gave me a couple of shots that have put me out of pain for over a month now, she also setup an exercise program and recommendations for shoes, PT's and what stretches to use, she has an excellent bedside manor and is highly recommended, she gave me my life back! Had a great experience with Alicia Carter for PRP for my lower back !

Dr Carter is the best Dr I've ever been to for sports medicine by far. When making serious medical decisions I usually will ask my Dr at the end 'what would you do if I was your child?'. Honestly that's the treatment Alicia provided. She didn't stop her inquiry until she was certain of the treatment plan and then took extra precautionary measures to rule out anything else. I.e she wanted to make sure I wouldn't need to spend more time, energy, and money that absolutely necessary. A truly kind person and distinguished Dr in my eyes. Look no further in my opinion.

Highly recommend seeing Dr. Carter before getting any back surgery. She is a rare gem, very professional and knowledgeable and will answer all your questions and concerns. My results for PRP for my neck pain were amazing. I am very satisfied and would do it again if the pain returned. Definitely the future of medicine that you can get today.

I don't typically write online reviews, but my experience with Dr Carter warrants one. When you have a consultation its almost strange as she spends a tremendous amount of time with you, asks a plethora of questions to find our the extent of your injuries/issues, and doesn't rush you or look at her watch, etc. When she does a procedure, she does literally everything, soup to nuts, and again in a time when I'm used to an PA or NP doing the vast majority of the work with an outpatient procedure, the experience is almost surreal. My procedure was a multiple level disc injection of PRP, as well as PRP into Facet Joints and I believe also SI Joints. I have multiple lumbar herniations and train Brazilian jiu jitsu, which doesn't help. I had really injured my back prior to my visit, include losing about 75% of the strength on my right quadricep. My pain was in the worst pain I've had in 20 years. I couldn't sleep, I couldn't sit, and I surely couldn't train. The injections were an experience, but they helped tremendously, returning me to a higher level of performance than even before my injury. Totally worth it, and no insurance doesn't cover it. They'd rather pay 20x the cost for a lumbar fusion that would leave me worse not better.....
