Doctor Coker herself would get 4 stars. She's professional, thorough, and cares. If everyone were like here, this would be a good practice to visit. However, the ecosystem around her is toxic. I was 11 minutes late for an appointment... for an appointment related to stress and anxiety. They refused to see me. They then proceeded to be incredibly rude and threatened to remove me from the practice. Another time, they were running late. They left me sitting in the corridor for 15 minutes with a bad knee and didn't apologize... Overall, I'm glad to have left the practice. Their approach is toxic.

I went to see Dr Coker last m and previously wrote a great review. I thought Dr Coker was a personable and thorough doctor. BUT her staff manager is discrediting the entire office. When I had called this office I hesitated to hang up the phone; manager was extremely rude and impatient with me. Granted English is not my first language. I had no time to find another doctor, so I decided to still go. Visit went fine; made an other appt to have a very crucial shot on 01/12 specifically for ivf. The day before I call the insurance because fertility treatment requires an approval. The AETNA agent asked to talk to the office to see exactly what they will perform, and the office manager refused to talk to her, shouting, this was horrendous. Same guy that aggravated me last month. The AETNA representative told me she was shocked and said she would report this on her end. This is UNACCEPTABLE. And on top of it, they canceled my appt the day before putting me in a tough situation!!! SHAME.

My wife and I have used this office and the following review is consistent with both of our experiences. In short - Dr. Coker as a stand-alone doctor is satisfactory, but the receptionist and office policies are not. The office has its policies, as most offices do, however, the receptionist does a poor (and childish) job at answering/explaining the rationale or logic behind the "why?". The time saved through their policy on punctuality is not worth the time lost through frustration dealing with them. Fortunately, my insurance provider, united healthcare, has parted ways with this practice so we will not be returning.

Dr. Coker is a great physician; however, her staff is completely incompetent and extremely passive aggressive. I would not recommend going to this office. Not only will they never own up to their administrative mistakes, they'll manage to blame you for them. Edit: Just read the recent reviews...looks like "Mark" should be responding with a passive aggressive statement any moment now.

I would advise others to choose an alternative.

Just avoid these discriminative people. There are many other true professionals in the area.

Rude staff. Read the comments below, not the first time people complain about the receptionist MARK being rude. He should be working at the front desk of a restaurant not in healthcare, this is not acceptable bedside manner for this industry. Note, this is the beginning of your decline, more will follow. I was just refused care because I entered my old address (I JUST MOVED BTW) I spoke with Mark, who seems to be very hostile and not helpful at all, and could have just cleared things up with a simple question, 'what is your current address', but decided to go back and forth with me for about a week and a half, just stating my address is incorrect. This to me seems unethical to refuse care to a patient because he gave you the old address of a place he just moved from. Not only that, apparently he told me they pick and choose who they want as a patient, and apparently i didn't make the cut, does that seem ethical to you? I think not. Unfortunately i cannot speak to the type of care that this Dr. provides due to the unethical and inappropriate behavior of Mark. I am just honestly extremely disappointed with the way I was treated, due to a mix-up with an address, this does not seem fair to me.

Office manager was extremely rude about my not being fully vaccinated with a booster. Refused to let me come in or even speak to dr Coker. I had just given birth recently with complications and was experiencing terrible anxiety and depression. They wouldn’t even refer me to someone else in my time of extreme need. I will never go back and hope this practice shuts down. Very sad.
