Ana Contreras's Online Review Report Card

I am very disappointed in this office. They simply do not answer the phone. After 45 minutes waiting they picked up at 4:55 and hung up immediately. No answer at all. Seems they were rushing to go home. The other day I waited over an hour and no answer. If you can’t run this operation in a professional manner then just close it. Our children’s lives are at stake here!

I love doctor Ana Contreras and her staff very sweet and understanding..

They are good doctor, if you are able to get through to get an appointment , i have been an hour and 15 minutes trying to get through for an appointment and still no answer

Muy mala atención mucho tiempo de espera es raro q atienda la doctora y la recepción muy mala atención te dejan en los cuarto de espera y no te dicen que ya te puedes ir muy mala comunicación

I'm really saddened to see all of the bad reviews. I have been taking all four of my children to Dr. Contreras for nearly 20 years now. I can admit, her assistant isn't the best (I always request to see her and ONLY her). She literally saved my oldest son's life after several doctors and even Baptist Hospital could not figure out what was wrong with him for almost a year. When I finally went to her after a recommendation from a co-worker (back when she was still on 152nd st.), she immediately referred my son to her colleagues at Miami Children's for thorough testing. My son had a brain tumor the size of a tennis ball and a cyst the size of grapefruit at the age of 4! Had it not been for her care and urgency, he would not be here to tell the story. I am forever grateful for her and I would never consider taking my family anywhere else.

Zero empathy I was told I had to wait 1 hour for my child medication something that could have been done in 5 minutes when I tried to explain to the nurse that my child was struggling and suffering the nurse told me you aren't the with a problem that is being seen wow really? All that because the doctor decided to see more patient and they were held back on their lunch hour now I have to wait 1 hour with my kid irritated.

I will not be taking my 2 children back to this place. I am very disappointed with their lack of sympathy and very poor customer service. My oldest required a referral for a physical injury and mental health services guidance. I was rushed out the door and given a follow up appointment for icing my child injury for another few days & not accurate mental health services guidance. Collecting copays for 5 mins visits. Doctors have good bedside manners overall, but their administrative staff require customer service training. If you don’t like your job, I’m sorry.

Ayer esta pediatra Ana Contreras aseguro dictamino que una menor padecia de ANOREXIA. 1- primera paciente no conocia record era su primera visita. 2- sin in esaxem ni fisico ni laboratories que pudiera tener algun argumento de desvalance. 3-sin entrar en una comunicacion con la menor. 4-sin hacer ningun cuestionario o explorer criterion de especialustas en el tema ES UNA PENA PONER LA SALUD DE UN MENOR EN MAnOS DE UNA DOCTORA INCOMPETENTE MI HIJA HOY FUE ATENDIDA POR OTRO PEDIATRA, BAJO ANLISIS Y CRITERIOS, CON LA RESPUESTA DE QUE ESTA SIN NINGUN pROBLEMA .

Complete lack of minimum care for their patients. Assistants are clueless and incapable to do the most simple follow up. If you hate your job do something else! I went there just a few times and it's has always been a total waste of time. No more!

The ABSOLUTE WORST. These people go on extended lunch hours and are never able to help over the phone. I am disgusted with their service and care. A lot of the blame falls on the insurance and healthcare system, but doctors offices can do their part and this office is far from even trying to better the situation.
