Dr. Kanner found the right medication to handle my epilepsy. He made it so I didn’t have to have brain surgery for over 10 years.By the time I needed the surgery, it wasn’t new and was much safer! He also is a very kind and caring person with a good sense of humor!

Dr. Kanner was my doctor for 20 years. He is the best Neurologist that I ever met. I had seizures for 24 years and have now been seizure free for 26 years this year. It's all thanks to him. He has excellent bedside manners. He listens to what you have to say and he understands. He is without a doubt a very smart doctor and will do anything to help you. Anyone who has him for a doctor is very lucky because he truly cares about his patients. I feel very lucky to have had him as my doctor. He's without a doubt, one-of-a-kind. I was one of his first patients in Chicago who had brain surgery and it was a success. Take my word, anyone who has Dr. Kanner for their doctor, you are in very good hands. He will take very good care of you. ?

I've been with Dr Kanner for over 15 yrs- from Chicago to Miami, I've traveled from AZ to see him. He is worth the wait if he's running late bc he never rushes me out the door. He calls me from wherever in the world when I've had a TC sz out of the blue (they are rare) or any other problem. (It's rare I've ever needed him to call, but he has). He is extremely knowledgeable in epilepsy, EEG interpretation, anxiety/depression...... I couldn't imagine anyone else managing my care.

Dr. Kanner is a proficient doctor who has a great bed side manner. In addition he is compassionate and takes his time with his patients. He's one of the best neurologists out there in my opinion.
