Great friendly people, they managed to work me in their schedule as I needed an examination quickly. Thank you!
Dr. Giron is one of the most dedicated, compassionate and educated Infectious Diseases doctors we have ever met. She took great care of me and had excellent bedside manner especially during the tough time I was going through health-wise. I would recommend her highly to anyone who needs not just the expertise of an ID specialist but who needs a doctor that truly feels for you.
I am a 53 year old male with unfortunately years of health issues since I was 11. Needless to say, I have seen and been treated with easily over 100 different doctors throughout this time. Over the past two years, I‘ve had severe continuous health issues and was turned down by all my doctors as they told me they did not comprehend how my body reacted. I had tremendously high blood pressure which I had never experienced in my life, a pulse constantly over 130 beats/sec., shortness of breath, lung issues, a thyroid that would alternate between working and not working every month, waking up with egg size inflammations under my eyes and ping pong size cysts sticking out of my neck. You name it. Numerous times I was told it could be cancer and I can’t even recall the number of different MRIs and scans with and without contrast that I had to do from different parts of my body. My last oncologist recommended me seeing an infectious diseases specialist as a last resort as I had seen every single specialist and that my biopsy came out to be negative again (thank you god). My last episode was waking up in the morning with an egg sized cyst under my left eye (entire egg size sticking out), a cherry sized cyst next to it, another cherry sized cyst under my left ear, and a ping pong ball sticking out on the right side of my neck. I found several infectious disease doctors and I called them all to see who could see me as soon as possible. They offered me appointments for several weeks out but when I called Dr. Giron’s office, her professional staff asked me for my symptoms to see if she would give me an appointment as she was overwhelmed with COVID-19 patients. They called me and gave me an appointment for 2 days later. Once Dr. Giron finished my examination, she said she didn’t care about my work or other obligations and she told me I had to go to her hospital’s ER early morning the following day and to tell them I had to get hospitalized per her instructions which is what I did. She on her end arranged for a plastic surgeon (Dr. Reyna, also an excellent surgeon) and my ENT to all come to also examine me early that morning. When the surgeon saw me, he also told me that I was going nowhere that day and that I had to stay overnight in order to urgently get operated the following day. This bacteria eats your flesh, makes holes in your body, lets it out as pus, and slowly finds it way to the heart. To make a long story short, not only she saved my left eye’s sight, she also saved my life. She came to the hospital every single day to examine me (including Saturdays and Sundays) and she was with me to the end even on the day I was discharged. Having seen hundreds of doctors throughout my life, if I were to pick one doctor, it would Dr. Giron. I will stop here as whatever I say, it would not be enough to praise this doctor. I will remain forever grateful to Dr. Angela Giron so if you are looking for an infectious disease doctor that surpasses all your expectations, look no further!
Excellent Doctor.
She’s great
After making an incredible amount of phone calls to doctor's offices one office finally recommended Dr. Giron. After explaining the situation that my daughter is traveling they gave her the first available appt. and called her when there was a cancellation to have her come in sooner. Then they arranged for a biopsy next day in order to expedite care. Knowledgeable, efficient and caring. Something sadly lacking in our experience trying to get a diagnosis for a tropical parasite picked up in travels.
Excelent doctor, Very Professional office
I saw Dr. Giron for a parasite infection a few times. She was extremely dismissive with me. I called her 3 times after the first visit because I was very concerned that my condition was worsening and wanted to know if I should come in sooner. She never called me back. I waited until my scheduled appt and After some tests she was not able to diagnose my condition, she gave me a general anti parasitic medication which I took and after some further concerns tried contact her office to speak with her several times. I also spoke with staff several times to see if possibly, dr Giron could not fit me in, maybe I could see one of her collegues. Her office, like her, would not call me back, after saying they would check with her (I called on several different occasions and was told by staff "I told you we will call you back"). They never did. Mind you, I was never in any way rude to anyone I spoke to. I'm forced to go see another doctor and feel like I wasted time seeing this woman. Don't waste your time, go somewhere else. I am a polite person, and pay good money for my insurance that pays well for her services. I do not deserve to be treated like this. Take my advice, go somewhere else

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
