List of Ann Ballen Md's Reviews
Es muy buena doctora y ademas muy humana...lastima que sea tan demorada la consulta
Dr. Ballen is a breath of fresh air. She explains everything and makes you feel at home. I wish more Doctor's were like her.
Just left Dr. Ballen's office and was so thankful to have gone there. I am a monotopic patient who hadn't had her remailing eye checked in over 20 years. Always afraid to here bad news, Dr. Ballen, restored my faith in doctors. It doesn't always have to be bad news. She was more than happy to share good news. Excellent professional that takes time with her patients. A very compassionate and understanding doctor. Who wouldn't love her? I know I do!
She did both of my cataracts with zero problems! Now, my wife will have her cataracts done by her, given my perfect experience! Yes, office is not always as quick as you would like, but maybe that is because she & her staff are very thorough!
Very happy with my visit. No significant wait, all the exams were done efficiently, and Dr. Ballen was outstanding.
I went in because my daughter who just turned 2 was referred there for an eye issue. Not only did we wait 1 hour and a half to be seen but as soon as my daughter went into the office Dr. Ann Ballen said "so who has the big nose in the family? Because she is going to have a big nose", I honestly was taken aback and decided to just brush it off. Then her coworker came in and they talked about a personal thing for 5 min...as I sat there with my 2 year old. Then she goes without even looking at the referral " is this why she is here? Is she cockeyed because of her nose?" (Her little button nose)....which it wasn't at all. The visit keeps going followed up by awkward silences, where I had to remind her she stopped mid sentence, she suggested I put a patch on her eye and told me I would end up buying a few boxes and giving up anyways. Honestly I don't know how an adult professional gets away with criticizing my baby's body features and being so disrespectful. It's disgusting. If I could give 0 stars I would, I even called to cancel her follow up and they didn't ask me if I wanted to reschedule or why I was canceling.
I have an appointment with Dr ballen in a couple of weeks. She did my eye surgery 25 years ago. I want to have my eye checked again. I came last year and saw a different doctor took all the test and told me I had to see her for strabismus for consultation. I didn’t make the second appointment due to work. When I called to make an appointment a year later I thought they initially gave me July 8 at first but couldn’t make it due to work. Then they gave me July 15. When the office called to confirm appointment it was for July 8. I had to reschedule for an earlier time on July 15. Maybe the appointment setter wasn’t paying attention. Let’s see what happens now I have to leave earlier
My Mom an I have been seeing Dr. Ballen since 1995. Dr. Ballen is the best doctor there is. PERIOD!!!!!!!!!!
My son has been seeing Dr Ballen from birth. My experience with has been amazing
I was very disappointed with the staff...unprofessional and inappropriate discussions with profanity in the reception area where patients are waiting. Young staff members need to be aware of their surroundings.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
